so easy to set up the thermometer and the leak detector. I thought that the HUB came in the Kit but did not and had to order alone . I have not had a leak so I can't say how effective it is.

terrific just absolutely terrific by the whole setup of the water detectors. you can even have it shut your main water valve off if there is a leak and you're not around.

YoLink sensors have great battery life and connection range. Previously I used other smart sensors and constantly had to replace batteries, or would drop connection to the hub. I saw someone reference YoLink sensors specifically for freezer temp and I decided to try them myself. A year later I have multiple YoLink temperature and water sensors around the house and all have worked fantastic. No issues with battery or connections, and for the water sensors they alert very quickly with even a small amount of water touching the sensor.

This is my second purchase of the YoLink water detector sensors. I purchased a set with the hub previously. Very easy to set up, and all worked when tested. Thankfully, they haven't been tested for a actual water leak. But it's better to be prepared.

YoLink has saved us from water damage while we were in Florida. We had a slow leak under our Kitchen sink that the YoLink picked up. The sensor notice went to my IPhone and I advised my son who checked under the sink and found a loose fitting causing the water leak. Without the sensor the water leak would have turned into considerable water damage. The YoLink system has saved us considerable loss from water damage. I highly recommend the sensors throughout the home.

Huge YoLink user here and needed a few more of these sensors. Use these under our hot water heater, sinks and most importantly have one hanging at the top of our sump pump. The sump pump sensor already saved us from having a flooded basement one time during a storm we had where the pump did not keep up. We knew of the issue before it became too late due to these sensors. They work 100% and are very reliable. You even get messages when the batteries go low and replacing them is as easy as opening the small sensor with a small Phillips screwdriver and putting in 2 AAA batteries. Very well-made product, at a very reasonable price, and would recommend it to anyone who needs notice of water issues.

It sends a signal immediately once it has water on it. Definitely useful. I got it for my water heater. It makes me feel safe. I really like its application as well. Easy to use.

These sensors link VERY easily with the hub. Great design: neat, attractive and small, with moisture contacts on top and the bottom. Like this system so much, I bought another hub and sensor pack for my son's house

Walmart was price competitive and allowed for larger quantity than other online retailers so this was a big plus. YoLink does provide an extensive number of sensor functions to cover a multitude of home features needing monitoring. Detecting water leaks quickly is important to avoid the potential of extensive construction damage. Very simple to install and register with YoLink's phone app.
