I cannot brag enough on these york peppermint.Patty sugar free, they are so subtle. They don't have a real strong mint taste like the non sugar peppermint patties.I just love them
I love chocolate covered mint, so, I'm prejudiced. But, if you're not worried about your weight or high sugar content/high carbs, then dig in and enjoy. My mouth is watering just thinking about them. They are truly delicious!
While the chocolate is a little harder and maybe a little bit thicker than the regular peppermint patties, the taste is perfect! I was craving them and these hit the spot!!
Always loved York Peppermint Patty had to stop eating them since I am a diabetic now. But since I found out you make zero sugar York's and Reese's cups I can have them now Thank you
I really enjoyed these. I've tried other sugar free candies (i.e. Russell Stover), and can't really have more than one piece per sitting or else the Maltitol gives me so much GI distress. This one is an exception, I felt absolutely fine after 3-4 pieces.
Got these for my wife who is diabetic and they definitely spiked her blood sugars. Not all things sugar free are diabetic free. Just a warning for anyone who is diabetic. She did enjoy them and claims the texture is the same as the original and mildly sweet. The candies helped her sugar craving but one candy was not worth the blood sugar spike and she could not eat anything else. The product is great if you want to enjoy something sugar free and bypass real sugar.
THE CHOCOLATE IS VERY THICK AND NOT AS MUCH MINT TASTE AS THE REGULAR YORK PEPPERMINT PATTIES, WHICH ARE MUCH MUCH BETTER. I WOULD BUY AGAIN, BUT ONLY FROM WALMART. I RECEIVED A SMALL PKG FOR THE SAME AMOUNT WALMART CHARGES FOR ON SHELF, I SUPPOSE I PAID IT IN SHIPPING CHARGES. 3 OZ FOR 8.00.
I tried these to try to avoid too much sugar intake and the flavor wasn't bad but the effect of the substitute used as a sweetener (Maltitol) was terrible. I only ate a couple but in a couple hours time I was in severe abdominal pain that lasted for hours. I researched it and the sugar alcohols that are used in sugar substitutes are not well absorbed in the body. It was terrible. Never again.
I don't know who came up with the brilliant idea to send chocolate through the mail in the summertime, in the high heat temperatures we've been having, and not send it refrigerated. Needless to say, it was not a brilliant idea. My York Peppermint Patties came smashed with the white peppermint coming out of the chocolate, stuck to the wrapper, melted and broken.
I really tried to like this every year 😭The mix of peppermint and chocolate taste like toothpaste covered in chocolate.I know some people that like the minty flavor, but it's just not my thing. If you like mint Chocolate icecream, you'll probably enjoy these! But since I don't even like mint chocolate, this is just not for me
