The assembly is very easy. The bike is simple to adjust for height and forward/back. Have been using it for a month and it is just what I needed.
Confortable seat, love the magnetic resistance, pedals fit right (no sharp spikes), the LCD monitor works fine and the iPad holder is just right.
I bought this bike to use with the Peloton app, and have been very happy with it. I didn't want to drop a ton of money on a spin bike until I was sure I could get into a routine and that I would use it regularly (I've been burned before with spending thousands of dollars on exercise equipment that just ends up being a laundry hanger!), so I chose this entry level bike to get started. If I stick with it and this bike wears out, I'll eventually upgrade to a more advanced type of bike in the future. I've had this bike for a few months now and ride it a few times a week, and it's still going strong. I did experience a few minor squeaks and creaks a few weeks after I got it, but everything seems to have settled into place and it's been quiet ever since, with some occasional re-tightening of knobs
I'm a cyclist who puts between 100-130 miles/week on the road. With winter here, I wanted a smart trainer that I can't afford plus wife and kid also cycle. Opted for this spinning bike so I don't have to switch between three bikes every time one of us wants to ride. No smarts but budget friendly. I changed the factory saddle to an road bike saddle I had in my spare box. Also replace the pedals for one with SPD clipless one one side and foot strap on the other side (for the kid). I need to be clipped to really push hard. I installed cadence/speed sensors. I'm 6'1”/210lb and was able to find a comparable position as I have in my professionally fitted road bike. I'll be installing bar tape on the handlebars because the diameter is too small for what I'm used to and when you sweat is a bit slippery for my taste on the factory material (I find the same thing happens on studio bikes). The handle bar has no adjustments which is a bummer. The down tube on the handle bar has some free moment, not the case on the seat tube. I've done two workouts on it for an hour each. There is enough resistance to do beat yourself up. I turned the resistance knob way hard. I was doing 8mph at a cadence of 56rpm which is what I do on a 15% incline hill nearby...heart rate was 88% to maxout. I've used gym/studio bikes in the past and it felt similar to me. The factory speed sensor broke while assembling the bike (which is very easy). Send an email to customer care and they will be sending one for replacement. The factory speed and other display is garbage. I'm fixing it for my kid use. I'm using a combination of Garmin and Wahoo sensors and my phone app for display (plus a connected sport watch). I would recommend this bike with the limited experience I have on it so far.
My wife got this to use with the peloton app. She has now put nearly 1000 miles on it since purchase. The bike has been solid, we had a small issue with the seat and we emailed support and they sent us replacement parts in just a few days. Very responsive. Overall it's been well worth the money.
I love this bike! I just wish you could adjust the seat a little better. I'm short and when I have to do tapbacks my bottom always hits the seat and I have it as low as it will go. Other than that it's an amazing bike!!
Only issue so far is the seat angle.... it points into the air at it's front making things a tad uncomfortable, especially for men.
I purchased the UPGO CYCLACE 002B Cycling Bike and the product was received at my home without any shipping damage. After opening the box I was very pleased with the quality of the bike's construction and the ease of assembly. Unfortunately, when I began to use the bike for the first time I noticed a very audible knocking sound at the flywheel. The sound never goes away during use and begins immediately the next time the bike is used. This is a solid, well built bike and everything except the flywheel noise is very satisfactory and works as advertised. I like the bike very much and MAYBE could even tolerate the loud knocking sound, but I'm afraid there is a defect problem that will eventually get worse and make the bike unusable. Overall the bike is a 4 or 5 star product, but the knocking flywheel issue causes a concern. I have read other similar reviews with the same issue, but what is the best way to handle this complaint?
The bike came on time, was a gift for family member. However the delivery instructions were not followed! Lucky for me I was home the day of delivery. The pedals were defective and unusable. Bolts would not come off to attach to bike. Had to buy a different set of pedals to use bike. So annoying! Would NOT order anything from this company again. Cannot recommend.
Can't give less than zero review. buyer beware of this seller..... do not order from item never delivered said on it's way and never notified had to contact wal-mart and received refund for this item.....
