Heavy enough for stability using both arms and legs. Still can lift from floor to desk top and back down. Resistance settings are a wide range, larger than I thought it would be. Seems to be very well built. Plan to use it alot. I'm 78 and been in a wheelchair since COVID,some rehab and want to increase arms and legs strength. Good buy.
I had a Total Knee replacement a month ago and this is perfect for keeping it from getting stiff between PT visits. It was ridiculously easy to assemble and very quiet when in use. It took more time getting it out of the box and Styrofoam than it took assembling it! Very glad I made this purchase!
It took a lot of time, but I focused initially on those units which go for a modest cost, AND were used by lots of people for rehabilitation of some injury or physical disability, mostly because that's what I had -- a flexor muscle injury to my right hip... WELL, GUESS WHAT... FINALLY CAME ON THIS UNIT. It had an almost 5-star rating, hundreds of users, and lots of them rehab'ing from some medical difficulty... This unit is the real deal!!! tough and ruggedly-built, quiet, heavy, so I know it's made of solid materials, and after 10-15 minute sessions on this, my flexor problem all but disappears... In a short time it has made one heck of a difference in my walking -- and THAT'S WHY I GOT IT, BINGO!!!!!
My husband had knee surgery and he felt this would be really helpful in his recovery. We had read so many poor reviews on different pedal exercisers that we were thinking that maybe they were all just useless. We received this one and we're so glad we ordered it!! It's heavy enough so it feels good quality. It pedals very smoothly and has more than enough tension if you want it. He's not using the pedal straps yet but they seem to be adjustable to a pretty wide foot. We are extremely pleased with our purchase!!
My Doctor has pushed me to exercise and recommended (a brand name) expensive machine. This one I feel has to be at least as good if not better. The resistant settings make it easy to find the right level for me. It was easy to assemble. It won't tip over or slide around when in use. Arthritis and lung issues make walking and other forms of exercise difficult for me. This machine has helped my circulation to the point that I am doing much better. It is not hard on my knees or hips, in fact it has improved my mobility. IMPORTANT. Be sure to read the directions. I almost placed mine backwards which could have damaged the machine.
Small enough for me to handle and put near the chair. For me it works better if I am sitting on a kitchen chair. My husband loves it also. It was really bought for him. He requested it and when he tried it out he said...it is not going back. This is a keeper.
I was surprised at the ease of assembly and it's performance one I started using it
The bike has a few problems including the following: it is heavy, its pedals are too small, it doesn't offer a great workout for people in good condition. There are good things about it too. It's easy to assemble, it's easy to use, and it's well designed. For these reasons I recommend it.
One pedal was difficult to install because the bolt threads were slightly off. After several attempts my husband was able to make it work. Now that it's together, we love it. It is very quiet. The tightest tension is still not very difficult to pedal.
Setup was easy enough but, it feels sturdier than it is. It started making an annoying and loud clanking noise during it's second use. I'm about to initiate a return right now. lame
