It was a birthday gift for six year old girl and she was so excited. I think it was a good choice cause it gave her experience with crystals how to make them and how to paint them and how to make jewelry. Well worth the money.

This was a fun activity. Definitely requires adult help but I didnt mind and the projects turned out great. My daughter especially loves her unicorn necklace.

So we can’t figure out what we did wrong since we followed the instructions exactly. We even left the glue with the crystal mix on top dry several days instead of just three hours like it said. We checked it after three hours and it was still gooey and then it just got left a few days which I thought was good because it was super dry. The problem seems to be that when we hung it in the water to grow the crystals the glue dissolved and slid off as you can see in the pictures. Which makes sense because it was just white glue which is water soluble. So I’m not sure how to get this to work. We’re going to try again but honestly it was very time consuming so it will probably be a few days before I have a chance. I just can’t see how anything will be different. Three stars because the kids still had fun doing it but it didn’t work and they were bummed. But we did get to talk about how experiments sometimes fail and we learn that way too. So that’s something.

Followed directions exactly and like many people say, the glue falls off with crystals on it, the glue falls off in one piece, refund ?? I got this for Christmas just opened it yesterday. Horrible

We followed the instructions very carefully because we heard a friend's didn't work. Our also did not work out. The crystals formed, but they wouldn't stay on the charm because the base was too soft after being in water.

What a scam! First it was 10 days late. It was supposed to be a 20 pound bag not .22 ounces!

My kids and I had high hopes for this product. We followed the instructions but the crystals fell off in some places while still in the solution. We removed the pendants from the solution at around the 30 hr mark and let them dry overnight. However, even after drying the crystals would still fall off to the touch. I added a picture and this is 5 days AFTER the overnight dry time. I added a picture and you can see the pieces of crystals in my palm. Also, note how the color faded over that time. Its obviously a very noticeable difference.. The crystal breakage is not too bad but its still bad enough to where a child can't wear it as jewelry. The decoration part was fun, my kids and I both enjoyed it but it doesn’t hold up as advertised.

My daughter was really excited to do this activity and unfortunately it was a total disappointment. We followed everything step by step and it didn’t turn out, at all what do ever. Can I get a refund, please? To anyone inquiring, don’t waste your money

This jewelry crystal growing kit was not the easiest to use and didn’t work. It takes multiple steps to prep, first add glue,time to dry, 3 plus hours, then time for the crystal to “grow”place in solution of 7 teaspoons powder to half cup tea temperate water. Ours didn’t grow , (waited 3 days hanging in the solution it says at least 24 hrs )so I never got to the adding the dyes to the crystals. However the dyes are liquid so it could easily bleed over the other colors. We tried the heart and circle pendant as well as ring first. In theory this kit is a cute idea, in reality it did not do what it was suppose to do .There is enough stuff to do more pieces which we probably won’t try. Even if it did work It’s definitely a project for an older child or supervised by an adult. This kit includes 4 necklaces, 3 hair clips, 3 chains, 1 ring as well as the dyes, cord, bag of powder alum.
