This chair/bed is well made despite being very lightweight. It looks upscale and works well as a temporary bed. It's very comfortable and looks modern. This is the second one I have purchased having the first one for at least 8 years. It makes a great purchase for my needs.
Second time buying these chairs for my kids game room. Over time they do show wear with the cushion padding and adjustable spring system for the backs, however, I still find them to be the best gaming chair as far as looks and functionality.
THIS CHAIR IS AS EXPECTED...IF YOUR OLD , FAT, PREGNANT OR OVER WEIGHT THIS IS NOT THE CHAIR FOR YOU...SITS VERY LOW...BUT FOR KIDS AND YOUNG THIN ADULTS ITS GREAT.....SHIPPING TOOK LONGER THAN USUAL...I THINK IT WAS LIKE 10 DAYS...BUT FOR FREE DELIVERY IT WAS OK...CAME IN A RATHER LARGE BOX....WAS 26 POUNDS....BUT ONCE ITS IN THE CHAIR POSITION IT WAS EASY TO MOVE...I HAVE A FEELING THIS IS GONNA BE THE CATS NEW LOUNGE SPOT...
I bought these for my 18 month old's playroom and its perfect... I had to buy 2 to complete the look..it's Low enough for her to sit but high enough for the couch look.. Well worth the money.. It also pulls out so my daughter can lay and watch movies... One of my best purchases!
I wanted to set up a kid's corner in our ocean front rental condo with 4 of these chairs arranged around a square coffee table but was concerned that I was getting a cheaper version because it cost $90 (much less than other on-line stores.) So, I only bought 2 at first. They were just want I needed. They convert to a lounge or a very narrow (30"-wide) twin bed in seconds. I don't expect any renter would have a problem with the ratcheting mechanism (similar to a chaise lounge). The memory foam is very firm and will probably require a sleeping bag or a thick pad on top to make it comfortable. But, it was intended for kids and they usually don't have a problem with that. I have since purchased 2 more to complete the layout.
I love the idea. It’s great. I’m 6’2” and it’s long enough for me also. The kids love it. I want another. Only problem is it’s difficult to clean— when you take the cover off it’s very difficult to get back on and the insides started to come out and the zipper broke. All I’m saying is show a little extra care when you go to take the covering off. Be gentle. I’d still buy it again though, because everything else about the chair far exceeds expectations. I don’t think I’ve ever seen or heard of a better flip chair honestly. Maybe needs a stronger zipper?? Or who knows maybe it was my fault lol
It works just like an old-school lawn chair. It's 2 or 3 clicks to sit up; you have to sit it all the way up & lean it forward to lean it back. Same thing for back; you have to lay it all the way down before going back up. Nice microfiber suede cover. Also a very comfortable "mattress" when laid out. Works great!
I bought 3 of these for my daughter's playroom, two black and one green. The green one seems slightly larger than the black ones so that when they all are placed side by side in a " sofa" formation, you can see the slight height difference. Other than that, they are identical. My 10 year old can easily lay them flat and then put them back in their upright position. There is a very strong chemical odor that lasts for about 4 days after you take them out of the box, so you may want to air them out in a garage before use. They are quite comfy, but built for kids. These are not big enough or sophisticated enough for use in an adult's living room. Wonderful alternative to the air mattresses that we used to use for sleepovers. Watch the video that accompanies the product description on the website so you can see their size compared to an adult and so you can see how they unfold because no instructions come with them and it is not intuitive.
I bought this chair in blue, which turned out to be a less brilliant blue than the pictures (which is a good thing, IMO. It is a great size, easily folds out for sleeping or lounging. The "click-clack" mechanism works very well. I've just moved into a new place and had no furniture so this chair has to be both bed and chair for a little while. It's very comfortable to sleep in, and is very long so it can accommodate tall people. As a chair it's very low, so not everyone would find it a comfortable chair- I am small, so I like it- no more dangling feet. BUT- it had a powerful, harsh odor, so bad I sle[t at a friend's house while it out-gassed for a couple of days. Unfortunately, it's still out-gassing, and while it's much less powerful, i still need layers of extra bedding to lessen the intensity of the smell. I would still recommend this chair to someone, but I'd warn them of the out-gassing.
The picture and description make this item look as if it is the size of a regular chair, but it is teeny and flat. It is fine for a toy chair for a child under 3 years old, and will work as a "bed" if the child sleeps motionless as it is very narrow. I returned it 2 days after receiving it.
