I was hesitant after reading the reviews. I think many of those reviews were based on expectations exceeding what this machine is able to do. it may not drop the temperature to 60 degrees but it does keep the room fairly cool. block out the sun coming in the window and that helps keep it cooler. The instructions say to put the ice pack in the upper water tank but it does not fit there. it works perfectly fine in the bottom tank. The only thing I don't like is there is no way to empty the water, or at least I haven't found it yet. All-in-all this does exactly what it is supposed to do. I intend on getting the small gel ice packs, those will last longer.

I needed something to keep my room cool during knee replacement recovery. This swamp cooler at the foot of my recliner was amazing! It was 90 degree days and I was comfortable by running it continually with the ice block and ice cubes.

This product does not cool as it states. I needed this for a small space and it works more like a fan. I used the ice packs as mentioned but it still did not cool.

To name this an AC is exaggerated. If you add icecubes in the water container, it cools for a little while, that's it. The water container can't be emptied easily for removing mosquitos, the old water or just to clean, you have to turn over the machine.

I am very disappointed! Precise instructions were really not included in the ice bottles didn't exactly fit into them the top it wouldn't close all the way I didn't say where to put the water in the ocean and I sat there and I waited for something to get a little cooler but it did not. I will be returning this item tomorrow I sat and waited, and then I was thinking that it needed to call, but he did not. Hopefully I will find something a bit better.. I wasn't expecting it to. call of my whole room but at least call me off and it did not. It had 4/4 air but it was warm here it wasn't even cool air.

If you are looking for a room cooler would not buy this one. It is real small, doesn't have hardly any wind to keep you cool. I even tried putting it right in front of me and it STILL wouldn't keep me cool. Also after a month it started leaking and customer service is unwilling to replace it, saying that my 30 days on the unit are up. Vert low value for the price you pay for it.

I bought this for my bedroom because my window A/C unit quit working, and I cannot afford to buy a new one at this time. This cooler was a waste of the little bit of money I receive from disability. I don't recommend this product at all.
