This is a great lure for kids or novice fishermen, because you just cast it and reel it in. It swims and wiggles like a hula dancer. I tried it in my farm pond and the bass found it irresistible for a while. After I caught and released about a dozen of them they were not so receptive. But that is where this lure shows its versatility. Instead of just reeling it in directly I started bouncing it slowly off the bottom like a jig. Netted me more (and larger) bass. Highly recommend!

if you've ever thought about using a chatterbait, bladed jig, or skirted jig in general, this should be your first purchase along with a craw chunk trailer. always have that green pumpkin jig and next one should be black and blue.

4 words... Chatter or Go Home. You can never go wrong with a black and blue chatterbait when it comes to murky water. Caught some of my biggest this year after a rain storm when the water was high and came out victorious.

Chatterbaits are a must-have in the tackle box for my area. Water clarity usually means tossing one of these almost every outing. Great bait to pair with Karl's Chunk and get to covering water.

Never used a chatterbait before, tried this one out, caught a 19.5" smallmouth in about 30mins of fishing this will always be in my tackle box from now on

VERY durable. Haven't caught any fish with it yet, but i actually got this hung up on a log a little off the bank and broke off, I was about to go home and said to hell with it, swam out and got it and the only issue was the hook was a little dull, sharpened it right up and bam, back to like new.

Great for the price point. If you want a chatter bait to play longer need to spend the extra money and get the jackhammer. I like these for catching pike too, don't feel as bad when they tear these up.

the blade part that spins gets twisted up some times in the metal piece that comes off it, so if i make a good cast it would ruin it because the blade isnt spinning properly
