I got this as a gift for our 4-year-old grandson and he loved playing with them. They don't shoot super high but also don't hurt on the way down. He runs and tries to catch them and when he misses (a lot) and they bonk him in the face he just laughs.

Our grandson went absolutely bat crazy over this thing! He was amazed at how the little Nerf rockets seemed to disappear! There is some real velocity there. 100% safe. And this is funny: he forgot all of his other toys and ran off to get a box to put all the rockets in. Ha! So cute!?Very organized my boyo! Cheaply made but decent price and my boys have a blast. The rockets are very soft, so no injury with impact. I would say these were a fun impulse buy I don't need to feel guilty about, but if you're looking for “wow” these are just “weee!”
