[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I send these to my brother that retired from the Marines. I sent them everywhere he was stationed . He's retired now but still lives in Twenty Nine Palms , Ca . A taste of home is what I send him ! Thank you for that ! He retired as an officer with 34 years of service . I will continue to send him stuff from home ! Thank You !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favorite! Great with Knorr vegetable dip. Wish I could find them locally. Just glad I can order online.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hot jalapeno chips. I wish our store carried them. They only carry the voodo which are not near as good.
I live in Burlington, Vermont and Zapp's, particularly “Hotter n Hot” Jalapeno flavor, are hard to find. My husband came upon a little bag at Aviation Deli and it was like the heavens opened. Delightfully crunchy not so much they cut up your gums. Perfectly spicey, leaving a hum of zesty spice and jalepeno. But the best part of Zapp's is that hint of oil still left on the chip from the frying. Mmmmm. I am a potato chip connoisseur and no chip equals a Zapp. Utz better honor this little chip company and keep them around for years to come.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love jalapenos and I love potato chips, but until now I haven't found a a good combination. I recently triedZapp's Kettle Potato Chips Hotter 'N Hot Jalapeno chips and they are awesome! They have great flavor and lots of jalapeno spiciness.
The jalapeno flavor is there, but these chips are not really spicy as I was expecting. Could be hotter.
I like spice [max out at ghost pepper, for reference], but I don't have very high expectations for mass marketed products. I've had Zapp's Voodoo before and it was good flavor, but no heat. A friend with New Orleans roots got me a care package of several flavors for watching her dog. I had Voodoo, still enjoyed. Voodoo Heat; mild, still enjoyable. I saved the "Hotter 'n Hot Jalapeno" for last, thinking it would be the best kick. Hotter than the Voodoo Heat, but overwhelmingly salty. Don't get me wrong, it's still a good kettle chip, especially balanced with something that isn't salty & use that to balance the flavor, but don't look to this for a happy burn that Crunch Tators Hoppin' Jalapeno had before they were discontinued.
The last few bags (over the last 4-6 months) of the Zapps jalapeno flavored chip has a very different flavor to the original Zapp chip - in fact significantly different. Please return to the original flavor - this new version isn't flavorful at all....the original flavor is much better!!!!
These chips are marketed as hot jalepeno chips. To me that means jalepeno flavor and a SPICY CHIP. They have no jalepeno flavor at all and cause barely a tingle on the tongue. They have hardly any flavor to speak of and are some of the least exciting kettle chips I have ever had. Extremely disappointed, I would not recommend these chips to anyone.
