I’ve made this lavender bedtime spray part of our bedtime routine. I love the calm, relaxing scent. It’s fresh and airy. Although I haven’t noticed much of difference in it’s “calming” effects on my daughter, I feel it’s making bedtime less stressful for me. My daughter don’t do routine well and bedtime can be quite stressing for all involved. That little extra step to make the room inviting encourages me to keep going, stand my ground. It does seem that once I do a couple of quick bursts from the handy spray bottle, she knows what’s coming and hears to her room, but sleep’s a whole other issue. I’m going to keep trying this as part of her routine and hopefully with a little more time, it will work it’s magic.
I never knew about this stuff until now and I'm officially obsessed we have been using it especially on really bad teething days. My little horribly fights her sleep now that she is teething. I just do a couple sprays right before I change her for bed and she falls asleep so quickly and peaceful. I love this stuff.
We've been using this every night before bedtime. It seems to calm our 18 month old down. She may not go right to sleep but she doesn't fuss and seems more relaxed. The bottle looks small, but actually last a long time because you just need a spray or two. Zarabees is a natural brand that I trust for a lot of things, so I'm very happy to use their bedtime spray.
I've enjoyed using this calming bedtime spray. When I keep my grandson he'd in a different atmosphere than normal so bedtime can be challenging. After his bath I will lightly spay around his bed. The small is a light lavender smell. I like that's it's not to strong yet creates a calming affect on my lil one. He falls asleep in more than half the time he did previous to using the bedtime spray.
I am reviewing the Zarbee's Naturals Baby Calming Lavender Bedtime Spray. I have used this with my infant to help him sleep at night. He is not always the easiest to get to sleep although he's an older infant. I thought I would give this a try as I also love the smell of lavender. First off, the smell is actually really nice. I can definitely smell the essential oils used when I first smell the bottle itself, which was strong. I sprayed it right after and it's not as strong once in the air as it is straight from the bottle. This made me relieved because I was afraid it would be too strong for me, which would mean it was too strong for my baby. When I used this for the first time at bedtime, I sprayed it about 5 minutes prior to laying him down. I went through the normal bedtime routine then laid him down and lights out. On a normal night, it would take him about 15-20 minutes to fall asleep on his own. After spraying this, I noticed him falling asleep in half the time and less fussing. It seemed to do what it states it does. Overall, I'd recommend this product to anyone who is looking for anything to help their baby sleep. It smells good and seems to work at lessening the wake time during bedtime.
I like the idea of a calm lavender bedtime spray more than the product itself. I didn’t notice any difference in terms of my baby falling asleep faster or something like that. But his bedroom smells amazing, so I’ll take it. And this is great especially considering that some times his bedroom stinks (like right after putting a diaper in the pail), so at the end of the day this is also a scented room spray that kind of helps with that as well. We added this step in his bedtime routine about a week ago and he is now looking forward to seeing me use the spray. He even reaches out to try to grab it. We do it after putting pajamas on, before book. I spray in the middle of the bedroom, not too close to the crib. For now I’m only using at night time, but may consider using at naps. It’s just that naps are so unpredictable, they’re not always in the crib. So I would have to carry the spray around the house if I wanted to make it into a routine. The bottle is small, but one spray is enough for your baby’s needs, so this should last for a long time.
You can't mistake the scent of this spray, its definitely lavender. Not exactly a sweet lavender scent, very much like fresh lavender instead. I found it strong, stronger then I thought for a baby's sheet spray. I thought it would be light and briefly have a lavender aroma but its much more pronounced. Did not irritate skin, no problems whatsoever. If you enjoy a fresh lavender scent then you'll love this.
This doesn't work on my baby. She's unaffected so I pretty much wasted money on this but hey it makes a great air freshener.
I have one child that takes FOREVER to settle down and fall asleep. I was hoping that this calming lavender spray might accelerate the process and help him get to sleep more quickly. We tried spraying it on his pillows and bed linens before bed for a few weeks. It hasn't seemed to make any difference for him, but it does have a pleasant aroma. Definitely worth a try if you have a challenging sleeper in your ranks.
