I was lucky to receive a free sample from Bzzagent! Zatarain's Lemon-infused Fish Fri delivers a solid, dependable crunch. While the cornmeal base fries up beautifully to achieve that classic, light Southern-style crispiness, the built-in lemon zest and pepper notes tend to fade into the background rather than truly popping. The breading coats the fish evenly, but it lacks the bold, punchy kick you expect. To really elevate the meal and prevent it from tasting flat, I recommend doctoring up the flavors with extra garlic powder, cayenne, or a heavy dusting of lemon pepper seasoning before throwing it into the oil.

This was the first time trying the ZATARAIN'S® CRISPY SOUTHERN FISH FRI, 12 OZ box , I used it on my cod which is one of the fishes that I eat , the Zatarains crispy southern fish covered the fish very well and I put the chicken in the oven to bake and it stayed on and came out nice and crispy loved the taste and ease of use . Definitely would recommend

The flavor of this is a little too citrusy for my liking. The coverage and crunch that the breading provides is good, however, the citrus notes that are in there kind of are overpowering. There is also a lot of product so you were able to cover a good amount of fish.
