Spent quite a bit of time reviewing low cost, good value e-bikes. This model compares closely with similar models in this range, but better value and price. Pros - Having a 48v system (not 36v) and motor under 500w (350w), adequate 11ah battery for most commutes, front shocks, speed limited to class 2 for 32km/h (can be increased to class 3 up to 45km/h) and under the weight limit for most bylaws to not need licence or insurance etc. Already comes with rear rack, front light, brake light and front and rear fenders. Good acceleration and throttle response on all pedal settings (cadence). Pass-through model so easier to get on. Really functional and bright colour display. Cons (mostly personal preference) have handlebars that are curved and I prefer straight. I replaced the seat for a wider model. I purchased a side mirror since this is a must in traffic. Things I would upgrade if/when they fail: change the disc brakes with hydraulic brakes. No issues with current brakes, just more stopping power. Options for larger batteries for additional distance since it's the built in kind, and too big/long to carry a second one. Turn signals. Additional gears since there is ghost peddling at higher speeds. Increasing the motor to a 500w version increase acceleration. Again, all the cons and potential upgrades are more of a wish list considering the overall value of this e-bike. It would be very difficult to build an e-bike more cost effectively, even with the lowest cost conversion kit, with the most basic bike frame. Installation instructions are online, following the video, it took a couple of hours to put together. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase, the bike appears well put together, doesn't feel or look cheap either, with some similar style and feature e-bikes going for two or three times the cost. Time will tell regarding durability.
Very comfortable as far as seat and handle bars positioning goes . Front shocks work nicely and breaks are great. Im coming from a 20 yesr old regular schwinn 10 speed
The bike is awesome. Just right for my wife who is very short...4'11"...not powerfully enough to scare her, but plenty enough to go up some very steep hills, at about 20kph...we went for a 37k ride all around our city last weekend and she still had 3 bars on the battery...that's really good. We had a couple of problems with the bike but the manufacturer will fix them at no charge to us. Excellent so far. My friend bought one exactly like ours after a quick test ride.
Excellent bike and very easy set up. Arrived well before expected date. Want to buy another one but seems like not in stock no more.
I have to be honest and admit that this bike is much higher quality than I expected and I've already put 75 miles on it in just 3 days of riding! I intend to upgrade the motor once I add more to my setup!
I love it. It's a great bike and if you like shifting, that is a bag that you really wants to have because the speed on the bike is just fabulous has shifting better and make you a good spirit. Thank you. This is a great bike.
Perfect bike for around town and a little on moderate trails , it might just be a little under powered but it is a750wat
I feel it is a great bike but the 750w motor turned out to have 350w on the side. The bike is comfortable nice to ride, I like the bike I just find the response on start or climbing a little slow %26 a large spread between the assists then I would like. (Expectations were higher then power delivery response time, I am a dirt bike rider so !!!) For getting out 4 -4 hours comfortable ride this bike meets the task.
at this point it is difficult to give the performance of the bike itself a critique since the one I received does not have a battery that works. However the ZDZA company has been communicative and working with me on getting a replacement and after a few weeks of troubleshooting they will be sending a replacement. For this reason, I am giving them more than average reviews for now because of their responsibility to the customer for their product. I hope the new bike is fully functioning and can give it 5 stars then.
Good: -the bike work well and the battery last long - easy to maneuver Bad: - broke down too easily - tire popped after a few rides -manufacturer did not assemble and clean all the parts
