Zebco 202 Spincast Fishing Reel, Silver

Replacement reel for Zebco Spincast. Durability of recent Zebco closed-face spinning reels is disappointing at best (broken: gear teeth, trigger buttons, trigger button mounts, etc.) Because the replacement reels cost less than individual lures I would still recommend for casual fisherman who want an easy to use starter reel for friends/family.

I do like that it works good , at least for a year, then it seems to not function as well.. but will enjoy this for aleast a great yr.

Have used Zebco 202 for 50-60 years It has a long work life and can handle 25 lb drums Perfect for kids Has a shorter life in saltwater but still hangs in there

I haven't used this new reel yet, but my other one like this one has worked like a gem. Zebco is a good make.

This rail is great for small kids who are just learning how to fish the only thing I do not like about it. The line that comes with it is junk. You have to replace it right away. Otherwise I haven't had too much problems yet. We'll see.

No issue with Walmart, price was right and shipping was fast. Zebco just fell off in recent years and isn't a fraction of the quality to value ratio they used to be. They're just chasing the almighty dollar at our expense. They redesign their reels every few years and with each change I'm more disappointed. I still want to trust the Zebco name but it's hard. Bring back USA manufacturing and bring back the old 33!

crap.. every 2 months i have it goes bad and stops reeling in line. what happened to the quality zepco USED to have?
