Very nice pole
My husband bought this reel for a birthday present. I have gone fishing with it now 2 times and have caught over 50 crappie with this reel. It casts smoothly and has a nice distance with the right amount of weight. I managed to real in a 14 inch White Crappie on this reel, so as of right now, it beats my Rhino. The grip is nice and gel like, as well as comfortable on the hands. Definitely a keeper so far.
No real issues with combo, only real cautions would be overly flexible rod, and the retrieval crown in the reel in some way had a line tangle under it.. not blaming the reel just recommend replacing for better line. Does cast really well and has a good distance on cast.
