Perfect for my nine-year-old son. It's his favorite pole and he fishes all the time. This is the second one I bought him. He tends to be hard on his fishing gear and his last one of these poles lasted an entire season, which was a huge victory!

i like this combo a lot. I did change to 4 lb line, i believe it comes with 6 or 8 lb. Casts and retrieves well, drag works smooth too.

So far so good. Nice for flipping and caught some nice bass with a Berkley paddle tail minnow. Already paid for itself for $10. Had issues with line a few times but not a deal breaker for me.

Ordered 2 Zebco Slingshot fishing rod and reel combos, the 3rd party vendor sent the wrong combos. Spent near 3 hours with 3 customer support agents, the last being a supervisor to get resolution, I think? We'll see, I have no indications on my online account other than a email request to fill out a CS questionnaire. Not gonna get it until it's resolved. I have no proof of the described and agreed resolution with the supervisor.
