First off my favorite part of this pen is that the ink is dry when on the paper. I love doodling and end up with pen ink being smeared across the paper. No more ink on my hand. The pen is smooth to write with and I now prefer this pen to anything else.
Pen is perfect size to hold. Its not a skinny pen. Easy to hold and write with. Use it at work all the time. My go to pen. Wished the pocket clip didn't protrude up past the click part to engage ink pen. Makes it inconvenient to track and retrack pen. Other then that its a good pen.
I love a smooth writing pen. The grip is comfortable. Appearance is slick. Perfect for professional settings or just because. I used it right away and keeping it with my belongings. I'm not sharing. It writes thin, no noticeable bleeding. I recommend them
I have 3 of these I use at home for day to day things, they're my first foray into pens that aren't cheap and disposable. They do smudge a little if you touch the ink soon after writing (for maybe 20-40 seconds in the dry desert air) but given the ease and clarity of my writing now I'd say I'd say it's well worth it to just be a tad more careful.
I work at a busy office where we take lots of notes and memos by hand. Also, we use these pens for a lot of document signings. These are the favorite pens in our office by far. Clients who come in often ask to take the pens they like them so much. The ink has a nice weight, and while there is enough ink, the writing flows smoothly. Only complaint is that because of the weight of the ink line, the pens get used up way before we have lost it or are ready for another pen. It would be nice to have the pen refills recommended at check out. Also, the left handed person in our office loves this pen.
I'm a teacher. I use a 1.0 blue Sarasa for everything. I love the boldness which makes my writing easier for me and others to read. I quit Sarasa for a year because the pens seemed to stop writing before the ink was gone and would skip when writing. I'm trying them again.
I'm a leftie and I'm super picky about my pens. My husband is right handed and loved this pen and the smooth writing. I loved the ease of the writing and the ink flow but being left handed too much ink coming out rubs onto my hand and smears onto the paper. I ended up with smudgy paper more then anything. Left handed people need less ink coming out of the pen.
The pen itself is light, comfortable to use, and retractable. The ink is vibrant both wet and dry. As far as how quickly it dries, because that is this pen's claim to fame, I did a test on both a Post-it note and a glossy magazine. It took 3 seconds on the Post-it to dry without smearing. It took 5 seconds on the magazine. In other words, I wouldn't use it for journaling or writing a long note to someone, but it is perfect for jotting down notes.
I will start by saying this pen feels great in my hand. It feels sturdy, well designed, and ergonomic. The ink flows smoothly, no extra flow, and the writing is precise. It seems that the pen contains a decent amount of ink, however the ink gets used quickly than other similar pens. With just a few lines of writing, the ink level has already noticeably fallen. The ink does not smudge at all and dries instantly on normal paper. If writing on greeting cards or a smooth type of paper, a few seconds need to pass or smudging will occur. This is similar to other pens and not an improvement over other pen products. The Sarasa ink will be great on most papers but is not perfect on all types of paper. The pursuit of a truly smudge smear free pen continues.
too long to arrive. ordered in past and my order didn't take 2 full weeks. The pens are very Skippy. they dont write as smooth as my pens in past. won't order any time soon.disapointed in quality.
