I purchased these specifically for my Hobonichi Planner. That planner has special Tomoe River paper in it, and not all pens work; some bleed through and some skip. These work well, just not really great. Would I still use them? YES. But there were some colors that had trouble starting. But overall, they did not bleed through. So, for what is on the market, if you like planning and journaling, these will work.

I love the assortment of colors and once you get used to writing with a .50 pen it's good. I thought the ink was skipping but I think it was due to the quality of paper I was using. I would buy them again if I could find them with .70 point. I would give the pens overall 3.5 stars.

I've used zebra pens before and really liked them so I assumed I would like these as well but unfortunately I don't. I used each color for a week and just couldn't get use to how I had to hold the pens to get them to write nicely. I had to hold the pen straight up and down while writing to get good ink flow. If I held them at a slant like most people do when they write, the ink wasn't coming out as dark as it did when holding it up right. The pens are fine point tip pens so I'm assuming maybe thats why they don't write as well, the ink doesn't flow to the tip to well. The grip of the pen is comfortable, it fits nicely in my hand and doesn't slip. There is a clip so that the pens can be clipped onto a shirt, apron, etc. In each package you receive 6 black pens, 4 blue pens, and 2 red pens and the price is decent for this 12 pack of pens. Unfortunately due to how you have to hold the pens to get them to write nicely I would not recommend them to friends and family but that doesnt mean someone else may not like them. I could have just received a bad batch, you will never know until you try them yourselves. I received this pack of pens for free for testing purposes only. My thoughts on this product are strictly that, mine.

I love the variety of colors, but these are super scratchy. they don't really glide like a gel pen at all. there are other brands that write much smoother. this performed more like a ballpoint.
