Red pens are hard to find and these were a great value and work fine!

Been using them happily for years
I've had several of these pens for years and keep buying (black-ink) refills for them. The wide barrels are easy to hold with my arthritic fingers. Smooth gel writing. I've had no problems with them and will buy more once I've lost them all.

I didn't notice any problems, but my coworker said the pen would pop open unless she gently laid it down on her desk.
