when I first opened the box of course there is the sticker label/other side directions shrink wrapped with plastic I didn't think anything of it went to unscrew it realized hm I couldn't. Had to put the puzzle pieces of the label together with tape to read instructions. Laugh there is a clear plastic ring in the middle you have to push it forward to loosen it. Than you can unscrew to get the length you need than twist opposite to tighten & pushing the clear plastic sleeve back. Once that is done you got it & it is nice. just that I never ran into another tension rod that has a clear sleeve you have to loosen & tighten up.I like it though & it does seem to be very sturdy .

I am one of the mechanically challenged so was surprised that I could make this work. I needed it to put across the back of my tub/shower to hang towels on so that they dry well. It is not the same as the spring type I used to be able to get. Those fit really tight. You have to extend this then turn to fit the right size. It will still roll a bit but I put a small nail on each side to keep it from rolling when I hang my towel on it.

I RECENTLY HAD MY TUB RESURFACED, AND NOTICED THAT NOT ONLY HAD THE SHOWER CURTAIN ROD RUSTED, BUT THE SHOWER CURTAIN HOOKS AS WELL WHICH LOOKED AWFUL. I DID AN INEXPENSIVE UPGRADE GIVING MY BATHROOM A FRESH LOOK, WITH NEW SHOWER CURTAIN LINERS, NEW MATCHING SHOWER CURTAIN HOOKS, AND A NEW SHOWER CURTAIN ROD. IT WAS EASY TO INSTALL WITH NO HARDWARE NEEDED, AND BY SIMPLY TWISTING THE NEW ROD TO THE DESIRED LENGTH. A BATHROOM FACE LIFT IN ABOUT 20 MINUTES. THANKS TO WALMART AND PRICES THAT GIVE YOU THE BEST BANG FOR OUR BUCK, I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS!!!! DIVASHOPPER2

I got this shower rod to replace my very old one. I like that no tools needed and it ease to set up. All you have to do is twist until it tight. And you can use it to hung clothes on to. This is a very good buy.

I purchased two of these spring rods. I used them together covered with fabric to create a room divider. They separate some ceiling space in a hallway where a ceiling light fixture was an eyesore.

I used this product to hang a 63' curtain in my new apartment. The tension rod has been holding fast for a couple of weeks now with no issues as of yet.

It is actually a decent product. Easy to use and durable. I use for my bedroom window and it works really well for that purchase. I can't say how well it is the shower, but I'm sure it would hold up really well. Reasonable price, I'm glad I bought it.

I used it as a curtain rod over my glass sliding door. It works great, but when you stretch it out to about it's full length, the middle sort of sags instead of holding straight.

Not the best but not the worst. It gets the job done. If you find that its too slick put a good size dollop of hot glue on the ends and smear a thin layer over the flat surface and let cool and dry. I wanted a white rod for a hallway curtain they would take a beating as we remodel. With two Labradors and a half pint'pup running through it all the time this wont get bent or torn down lol

Didn't even use it. The picture shows a clear end but it was a dull, dark, opaque gray. Looks cheap. I'll figure out some other use for it out of sight.
