I started using the sickle immediately after opening. It is a nice compact tool, lightweight, perfect for the elderly. I trimmed three bushes in one quarter of the time than when I used clippers! Very happy!

Decent hand sickle for the price
Nice, basic hand sickle. Good for the tall, thick guinea grass we have around here. I'm sure there are better ones out there, but this one meets my needs fine.

This sickle is light weight and the wood isn't finished. Most reviews say it's sharp. Mine arrived as sharp as a butter knife. It didn't take much to get it sharp. It's very good for cutting grass and hay. Don't expect it to be able to cat heavy duty weeds, it's not designed for it. It's a nice, light duty sickle.

Pretty Useless
Handle is too short. Not designed for anything too tough. I will say the sickle is sharp. Not worth the price. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
