First, if your feet are really tight and your toes are curling under, it will take some time to get used to these, but the end resolved is worth it. Because my toes were so tight, it was a little bit difficult to get them on at first, but as I use them consistently and everything started to stretch, it became easy to get them on and off. I started with five minutes, and it was an uncomfortable five minutes, and after six weeks I can leave them on for 30 minutes without too much trouble. The difference in how my feet feel now, compared to six weeks ago, is unbelievable. I can also see the difference, particularly in my toes being straighter, after wearing these to stretch. The Zen toes have made it possible for me to enjoy hiking, and wearing heels, again.
I like the material that this is made out of. It is soft and squishy and feels nice against my sore toes. The main issue I have, though, is that my feet are small and this is a “one size fits all” product. My little toes get stretched to the max and that causes another type of discomfort for me. I ended up just cutting out the parts I don't need so my toes wouldn't be so wide and would fit more comfortably inside of my shoes. It is a great product in a lot of ways, but it sadly just didn't work well given the size of my feet. I'd love to see a small size offered and my feet are small enough that I can fit into children's shoes. I am not sure if the market for that is large enough, but if it were and your company produced them, I would happily buy the smaller size!
I really like these (i have SPD, in wich i get uncomfortable from my toes touching each other) you can wear these for a few hours with comfort, do get slightly uncomfortable if worn for more than 4 hours, has a nice jelly like feel and works for my sensory needs, the only reason this gets a 4 star rating. Is because they get sweaty very quickly if under blankets or very warm places, other than that, really recommend!
The space for toes is a little tight, I can't wear for more than 30 minutes before my toes start becoming numb. I've been wearing these for one hour total each day(30 min in the morning and evening) for about a week and I dont think the spaces will stretch out.
The gel material is weak, especially on the outside of the big toes. These zentoes are clearly meant for feet that do not have any problems. The fit is a basic universal fit for toes that are evenly spaced, no bunions, no clawtoes, or hammer toes. The gel is also very prone to collecting every ounce of dirt, hair, dust you come into contact with.
They came rather quickly, the price was reasonable and they were very sturdy and stretchable. However, even my caregiver could not get them on the toes of the foot that gets hurt the most as I walk. and I cannot get them on myself. so you have to think about being able to bend your knees and cross your legs if you have to do it yourself. But, if I could get them on I'm sure they would be helpful.
The Zen toes toe spacers make my leg restless leg whenever I put it on when I sleep. In the middle of the night, I have to remove it %26 massage my leg, then back to sleep. Also, the toe thumb bone does not get pushed inward to minimize bone protrusion.
It appears to be that it is assumed to be one size fits all as they are made in one piece. My toes are kind of squished together which is why I bought them. But wearing them, my feet went numb and one foot, my toes really hurt a lot. I plan to try them again, but I lost interest in them. I prefer the kind that individual rather than 5 toes in one piece.
I read the reviews, but I don't have big toes so I thought the size complaints wouldn't affect me. They are extremely small, proportioned for a child! Will be returning
Received these Zentoes Separators on Feb 26, 2024. Have worn them about every other day, handwashing in cool water and air drying after each wearing. Today,Apr 4, 2024, while washing them I noticed that the strap that goes around the big toe on one of the pair was tearing into. In my opinion, they should last longer than 1 1/2 months. Comfort is ok, but don’t separate the toes very well. Seem to be made of flimsy material. I do not recommend. I will be returning to Walmart.
