Was for my newer gymnast/granddaughter. We both feel it is TOO SOFT. It's more squishy, like a pillow, and that is not conducive for beam (even practice) beam work.

The beam is soft and safe for all ages. The color is vibrant and the storage is top notch. The reason I'm giving it a lower star is solely because the beam is squishy. It's great for younger kids learning but doesn't offer support for those trying to continue leveling up skill.

It squishes when anyone over 60 pounds stands on it. It bends in two spots for storage. That's good but that down fall is when it's folded out the persons foot falls in the cracks. It's a beautiful pink.

It's so squishy! Which makes it harder to balance on. I guess that is okay because you will have a bigger challenge but I really expected it to be like a real balance beam that is firm.
