I got this shaver at the beginning of summer so I could make snow cones for my kids and I'm also a ice eater lol. The kids loved it they wanted snow cones everyday. I've had it for about 6 months now and it's still going strong. Machine is a little loud but it didn't bother me.

Extremely fast and efficient! Had read comments here talking of it not being what it was shown but this came exactly as it is pictured. Has an industrial look and with it being a re-placement for a Nostalgia Ice Shaver(that lasted 2 weeks) seems it will last for years.

This is great. Sturdy and makes fine sno-cone out of regular ice. I bought a bag of ice to use with this and it works great. The bowl that catches the "snow" could be deeper. So, I used a mixing bowl to catch the snow. I ordered syrups and sour spray from a local company. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a well built machine.

love this thing, so sharp and shaves ice effortlessly. Can get a little messy because the shaved ice flys.

This machine is powerful and shaves ice well but needs a couple of things. The area to put a glass to catch the shaved ice is way too low and too small. I took mine apart and built a 2” thick wooden block so a glass will fit. The tube where you put the ice to sliver has an aluminum pusher that is not a tight fit for the hole so some ice sits there even after raising the handle. Many of these type of machines have a rubber gasket that goes around the pusher to seal it off so that doesn't happen.

I did not like 4 things about this ice shaver: 1. Very loud 2. Sprays shaved ice at your face through gap in the round cover, also misses the bowl some below. 3. Ice chunks are rather large. I was hoping it would be more like eating snow, but it was more like crunching hail. 4. Kind of dangerous. The machine runs when you push down the plunger, so the only way to stop it running is to open it wide enough that the spinning blade is exposed, and it takes a few seconds for it to stop spinning. Seems like a poor, unsafe design. It IS made entirely of metal, so if these things don't bother you, the shaver should probably last you a long time!

I am disabled and ask that all my packages be delivered to the basement this Never happens You always leave the package at the front door. this is the wrong door to deliver to if this continues to happen I am going to have to shop somewhere else. Machine was received broken don't know how well it would have worked. The replacement sucks. I orderwd the same machine, but tvitvwas the wrong company I guess the one I received in its place is different company and it sucks

The ice went everywhere!!! It even hit a kid in the face who was standing there waiting. So embarrassing.
