Great design from a company that knows filtration! We are big fans of ZeroWater in our home and just purchased this pitcher to replace our old one. Works and looks great in our fridge and knowing that we're drinking pure water with all the crap in it puts everyone in the house at ease! :)
OMG love!!! Purest tasting water ever. After I found out my town's water had a lead problem, I did some research and came across ZeroWater. Turned out not all filters can remove lead and other metals. I actually have a hard time even drinking bottled water anymore bc it just tastes funny after getting use to zero water. I even use my pitcher to fill up my coffee maker. Makes my tea and coffee taste less bitter. Try it.
I had a Brita pitcher before I bought this, but had seen advertisements for the zero water. Wound up buying this black and chrome one and I was blown away. The water in my city is just over 400 and smells like bleach. The zero water literally knocked it down to zero. I put the zero water up against bottled water and it still blows the competition away. I will forever own my zero water pitcher. I fill up empty gallon jugs as well as large water bottles and place them in my fridge so that I will always have it with me.
This is NOT stainless steel on the inside. I was hoping it was stainless steel throughout to avoid the contact with plastic. It's still beautiful and works great but was disappointed in this fact. I think the marketing here is a little misleading.
I thought I was purchasing a stainless steel water pitcher as I am trying to get plastic out of my life. I was disappointed to find out this is a plastic pitcher with just a bit of stainless steel on the outside. In addition, the lid is not easy to seat into the top of the container indicating poor design. I would have given this pitcher a lower rating except I am happy with the actual filtration of the water and low TDS count. However I would not buy this item again nor would I recommend it to a friend.
Water meter showed reading of 006 on first fill. It should read 000-001. Refilled unit couple times and still had reading of 006. Tested other water to check accuracy of meter. Instructions say to change filter if meter shows 006 or higher. What?? This was obviously a used filter. The pitcher itself is sleek, lightweight and easy to handle but filter was either refurbished or a fake. BEWARE.
Bought this about three weeks ago and dropped the plastic lid into the sink. Unfortunately the design of the spout cover is so flimsy and the materials so fragile the posts holding it in place broke right off and now the cover is unusable. So much for a high-end filter pitcher. In addition, ZeroWater has no spare parts nor could they replace this pitcher even though it's under warranty; they have no more available, so I had to settle for a plastic replacement. Not happy at all. Otherwise would have enjoyed this product.
this was a great pitcher that i loved and tried to buy another one to replace my last one (that got lost in a cross country move) and while it showed as available on the website, and let me order and pay for it; it was in fact discontinued and the way I found out was after sending an email to customer service about three weeks after ordering and still not receiving it. The order status page kept saying - in progress. if i had actually received it, i would have given it five stars and currently, i kind of wish i could give it zero stars because it does not actually exist.
Dangerous water filter pitcher. Tell me what the point is of having pure water if the filter pitcher has a Prop. 65 warning on it. This pitcher exposes you to dangerous cancer causing chemicals. You're better off buying the large glass dispenser from the same company
Produces very low pH water which is very acidic and bad for your health
