I have an indoor cat that seems prone to allergens, anxiety issues. These seem beneficial, just wish my local WalMart kept them in stock. It's hit and miss to get them in store and WalMart sells them in this pouch slightly cheaper than Tractor/Farm Stores. My cat does eat them willingly, I feed them as a treat, so he does like the flavor and texture.
Our cat has had problems with fur loss, we took her to the vets and ended up spending @$300 for prescription meds. Unfortunately, we couldn't get her to take those meds. These treats, 2 a day, have actually worked and are much cheaper than the prescription meds.
I gave my cat two as soon as I got home. He has been licking obsessively and I'm worried that it's skin allergies. People mentioned their cats wouldn't eat it, mine looked at it and didn't want much to do with it so I sat one of his regular treats with the two allergy bites and he ate it with no problem. The second piece I had to break in half to get him to eat it. My little cat who does not need it was fighting to try to get to it lol. They don't smell bad and they have a decent amount of moisture. If they actually do work, then they will have been worth it. ***If your cat won't eat it whole, try breaking it into smaller pieces and sit one of their regular treats down with the allergy bites.
As a pet owner with one cat that has seasonal allergies, but in this economy not having a lot of money, this was a cheaper option. Not knowing if it would work, or if it would help, I found myself very pleased to know that my cat would eat these. With an attitude problem, this was one of the best things to give to my cat without going to the vet and spending a lot more. Sometimes just mix it with some wet food and they gobble them up
My precious ginger girl was scratching herself from itching and doing a lot of licking to where she had scabs below ears, on her neck and underbelly back legs. Shes an inside and outside cat. I tried my usual vinegar bath and cat anti itch spray. Nothing worked. I was about to call the Vet and expect the expensive vet bill. I googled kittys problem and this item popped up!!! I thought id try it and some anti itch wipes. The positive results very same day! i give her 1 a day for now, i wipe her fur and brush her as always! Itching is over...but i give her the chewable 1 xs a day for now. She is relaxed and doing great!
My picky senior kitty with skin allergies loves loves loves these heart-shaped "treats", she stands up on her hind legs (she never does that) and eyes get big and excited when she realizes one is coming. I give them to her twice a day as a natural supplement to help with her skin allergies and other. My vet looked over the ingredients recently and said to keep giving them to her, approved ingredient list, and said they are good for her.
my cat licks herself into having bald patches during allergy season, she was not interested in eating one of these as a treat but I give them to her crumbled into her food and she does not seem to notice. It is unclear if it has made any changes yet, it has been over 15 day of feeding it to her 1x a day.
The product is excellent and helps my cats with allergies and runny eyes. HOWEVER CHECK YOUR PACKAGE THEY GAVE ME 2 IMMUNITY AND ONE CALMING. Unfortunately I opened one to refill my container for 60 and it was the calming so I can't return it. No tummy issues from any of my cats, although some just don't like the bacon flavor. The picky ones wont eat it while the rest beg for them. Easy to give your cat as long as you break the treat in half. I keep mine in the fridge so breaking them make it smaller and easier for kitties to chew.
I gave one of these to both my cats. I was excited that my picky eater even ate it. I wasn't excited that within an hour both of my cats vomited multiple times. I came to read the reviews and found some others also had this issue. I will not trying these again.
the item itself, which I bought at tractor supply, really helped my cat wth his allergies and he took it with no problem, but I saw Walmart had it for half the price so I ordered it, they were dry, crumbled to pieces and smelled terrible. he would not take them. Really disappointed ☹️
