Zesty Paws Itch Relief Bites Chicken Flavor Dog Supplement, 60 Count

Both of my dogs have had issues with having yeast and itching frequently, even to the point of starting to pull out their fur and have redness on their skin. So I bought these as a last resort before taking them to the vet because nothing else was working. But I gave them the treats and it's worked fantastically! No more redness their itching has decreased immensely and they're a lot more comfortable! Would definitely recommend!

Our newest rescue is a blue wire-haired miniature dachshund who apparently believes itching is a full-time job. This dog is itchy ALL THE TIME. Not normal-dog itchy. Professional-level itchy. Olympic-level itchy. If there were a competitive butt-scooting event, she'd be bringing home gold medals. Before these bites, she had developed a favorite hobby: rubbing her rear end on the metal rails of our recliners. Not the carpet. Not a dog bed. The metal rails. She was basically sanding her butt bald one inch at a time. The good news is that she absolutely loves these bites. No hiding them in food. No negotiations. No dramatic Oscar-worthy performances about being poisoned. She takes them quickly and happily. For our mini dachshund, they seem to kick in fast and provide about four hours of relief. During that time, she transforms from "itch-powered demolition machine" into a normal dog who can relax without trying to exfoliate herself on household furniture. Are they a miracle cure? No. But they give both the dog and the recliners a much-needed break. Five stars from me, the dachshund, and especially the metal rails that were tired of being used as a scratching post.

these work amazingly! my Pyrenees has been itchy since she was 6 weeks old, even though she is parasite free. 2 days of this changed everything. she get 2 a day now and no more itching constantly! Great product and she loves them! a daily treat for her and her skin issues solved!!!

I give this 4 stars because I keep forgetting to give her dosage daily. It's the only way it's going to build up immunity. Each time we are starting all over . Trying again this week to not forget the dosage. She's 65 lbs so it's two bites a day.i tried splitting the dosage but it doesn't work. Two bites once daily. End of story.

To be fair, I thought I was getting the skin and coat formula and purchased this by accident for curbside pickup. It seems to have largely the same ingredients as skin and coat formula with the Omega oils and other known anti-itch ingredients. Her itching seems to be at bay, not that it was horrible and this seem to keep it from getting horrible. The shiny coat isn't there yet, but I'm sure it will be. Willow and I live in Central New York where it gets extremely dry in the fall and winter so I'm glad I'm getting these into her system now so that when it really gets arid her skin and coat should be well nourished by then. If for some reason I wasn't able to get the skin and coat formula I would go back to this because at the very least some of her itching has stopped. Zesty Paws appears to be a quality company. The vet was totally fine with her using their products. Willow does not like this as a "treat" so I have to blend it into about 3 ounces of wet food. Since she's about eight years old I've also purchased the senior formula that's multipurpose and plan on giving her one of those and one of either this itch formula or the skin and coat formula. It's a bit expensive, but I also use it as me not having to spend time and money at the vet office if a simple supplement blended into a small amount of wet food helps her.

One of my pups has some itching problems occasionally so was hoping these would help. I didn't notice much improvement but it certainly did not make the issue worse and they both seemed to like them. I did find I had to be more mindful as they can crumble a bit, but no major issue. Would buy again for the treat rotation to keep things interesting.

Like the product, it does seem to help her son with iitching, but I did have one issue and that is that a lot of the allergy bites were broken into little pieces so it made it difficult to gauge how much to give my dog. I would suggest trying to figure out a way to keep the pieces together better so they're not all broken up.

To start my dog wouldn't eat 1, so I mixed it in with his dog food which he finally ate but then threw up all his food. The food I fed him is the same food he's been eating for over a year so it was not his food. I do wish it worked for him but I can't recommend this product.

I normally love this product. I made the mistake of buying it in the bag. The chews are very very soft so when I open the bag over 50% of the bag was ground up like coffee. so the money I saved by buying the bag on sale is costing me in the long run. only buy this product in the hard plastic round containers.
