I was hesitant to try a supplement that was not from my Vet but after supply issues and a large price increase I started researching alternative products. I am now on the second order of this product which I give to my senior dog that was diagnosed with Cushings disease. He is doing wonderfully although he will not eat it directly. I crush it into hi9s food. As long as you have this product I will continue to use it.
My dog's liver ALT were really high, 171. We went for 120 days on a vet product and only went down 10 pts. I did research and found stellar reviews on this product so I decided we would try for four months since we had that much time until the next blood recheck . At our last recheck after using Zesty Paws, we are now at 70, and our vet was extremely pleased to see the numbers that low. Our vet gave this product a thumbs up.
I was looking for a milk thistle supplement with NAC/SAMe. I'm delighted to find the dogs formulated version in Zesty Liver Support Bites. it even includes 95% curcuminoids & dandelion. Jack doesn't like pills but waits in front of the counter and points at his supplies corner every afternoon and night for his Zesty time. Zesty Paws has the most amazing customer service. Calling them is like calling your best friend.
When the vet told me that my dog's liver enzymes were high I decided to give these a try. Within one month of taking them his liver enzymes went back to normal. At first he he liked the taste, but then he didn't, so I break them up in his food which he eats with no problem. I will continue to give him this product.
I swear by these. My dog had elevated liver enzymes. With proper feeding, exercise and the liver chews, her ALT went down! Way better than Denamarin which costs an arm and a leg and is just milk thistle.
A while back our pup was given the wrong meds which caused her liver enzymes to become extremely high. With medical care and these bites her enzymes have returned to normal. We still give her these treats as preventative.
Our 13yo senior rescue pup D'Agostino loves these "treats"! We were concerned about her liver enzyme panel before we started these supplements, and since we started on these, her numbers keep trending in the right direction.
I bought these bites to replace a liver powder...they are SOOO much easier and faster to throw in her dish and she loves them along with her new Senior Probiotic Bites ....like all the other Zesty Paw products!
I've been giving this to my dog for 6 months now after her vet diagnosed her with her high liver levels. This supplement has helped lower and maintain her liver level.
Great for my beagles liver. I have been giving this to my beagle because her liver numbers are elevated. It seems to help her keep them more stable. She also enjoys the flavor of these and I can give them to her as a treat.
