Bought this TV as a replacement in our Sunroom, which has lots of windows. This TV is GREAT! The color is perfect, set up was easy, and SONY is the only way to go!
The color quality in this TV is perfect - no other TVs ( LG and Samsung) I have owned can compare to this TV. Ease of setup was done in 5 minutes. Do not hesitate to purchase any Sony TVs.
Best picture of the 5 sonys I have previously owned, including a 65" sony OLED. No kidding. Almost bought another OLED but glad I did not. Seems my wi fi was causing the problems I had been having. No such problems now.
This is the second model up in the Sony line for 55" TV's. I have the top LCD model in our den and wanted another set for our living room to watch on when we have company over and there is a sports game on. The picture quality is better than I was expecting and I am very pleased with this TV especially considering the price.
I bought this TV about two months ago and so far so good! I love TV design which match with my living room. The screen quality is amazing especially in 4k videos. Sound is loud enough so I think you do not need any sound bar. I think it is the best option for someone that is looking for an affordable TV with high quality!
I always choose Sony when it is available in the product for which I am searching. My old TV was 20+ years old when it gave out. I love my new Sony. It was so easy to set up, wonderful picture, color and sound. Thank you Honey for your attention to details.
I bought this tv to replace a Samsung 46" tv that was just plain slow when it came to loading apps like Youtube. The Samsung was around 8 years old. This Sony 55" tv is a much better tv in every way. I also own a 65" Sony tv that is 3 years old. Both Sony tv's are very similar in what they offer and are very easy to use.
Bought the X80K to replace an A80K, which is deceased with failed T-Conn board. actully thought it was an OLED; didn't realize X80K wasn't until turned on and started checking it out. It's fine TV, just does not match my A80K. Well.... just my opinion.
I just got this TV about 2 weeks ago and I really enjoyed watching it in comparison I just bought a Samsung about a year and a half ago for roughly the same price and it shoots it out the water love the Dobby vision love the Doobie at most we're definitely recommended can't wait to get home from work sometimes just to watch it unfortunately I can't watch it loudly on my Sony system because my wife can't take it but if you're on a budget this is the best TV I think you can buy highly recommend it
I purchased this TV 16 months ago and I'm already having issues. The TV will shut off by itself after 15-20 minutes and a blinking red light appears. I've got a call in for service but considering the TV isn't even 2 yrs old - I wasn't anticipating issues so soon or the additional cost of a service call. Just hoping I didn't get a lemon. Tried the online chat with Sony but we had already tried what was recommended. The old "unplug and reset trick". That didn't work. Keeping my fingers crossed this isn't an expensive issue.
