Zilla Dual Low Profile Fixture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this brand for my crested gecko terrarium to set day time cues. He is in an 18-18-24 exo terra tank. I already use the 25W mini halogen day bulb, looking forward to using it in a more compact housing like this one.

(note though you have to purchase the bulb separately.) there are actually two places to put a bulb, one for the regular size and the other for a mini bulb. it's also nice it comes with little springs to attach it to the mesh lid. I may have placed them wrong but I do have trouble with some of them staying in place when moving the lid. right now I'm just curious to see how long the bulb lasts in it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fixture is absolutely perfect. I needed something to put inside a vertical I closure I made but didn't stick out to far and this was it. I love that it holds a mini halogen bulb and also a uvb bulb. My Tokay geckos are doing very well with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this fixture. It is perfect for two reasons. One, it allows light to spread across the whole cage instead of a basking effect. Second, it reduces the risk of a bulb falling over and starting a fire.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didnt realize that it stays on the lid which is pretty cool. this means I dont have to move the lights around for the multiple set ups we have. the bulbs are also cheaper for this guy. I would recommend this to people with multiple set ups or if they have low space on top of their set up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light does the job. I have a 20gallon turtle tank with two turtles and it's just the right amount of light that need. I had to buy the light bulbs separate so this ended costing me $15.00 more then expected. It comes with little springs to put on top on the tank lid, that way the light stays on top. The springs were a little hard to stretch at 1st. Watch your fingers. Overall it does the job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do love how this product is small/slim but still gets the job done. It's nice that it does multiple things - provides heat, UVB and light. The only thing is I wish it had different switches for heat and light so you could turn off the light but still keep the heat on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the low profile and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of heat it gives off. It is definitely a nice alternative to the typical bulky fixtures that I'm used to using for my reptiles. Not over the moon with it, but definitely thought it was nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried using this lamp with a halogen bulb but it wasn't strong enough for my leopard gecko in his 20 gallon. The temperature didn't get hot enough for my gecko. I'm going to try a mini uvb and see how that goes.

After only having them in my snake cages for three months they blew my breaker box and sparked and popped in my snake cage. Not safe for the animals. My snakes are both fine and in different places now. I have never had issues with any other lights I use and I have six different cages.
