This is a nice hamper. The bottom carboard fits a bit off but there is an internal bag that covers up the piece.. I would recommend this to friends.

It doesn't come with any assembly instructions; I needed to refer to the website listing photos to figure out how to build it. Although the photos show a metal frame at the bottom (between the rivets and the bottom piece), it only comes with one frame and I needed to use it at the top to stabilize it -- without it the top folds/collapses inward. The bottom is unfinished press board, not a painted solid piece as shown in the listing photos. With all that said, it is attractive and seems sturdy. I'm keeping my old hamper around until I see how this holds up.

If you want to be able to take the bag out to take to a laundromat, I'd look at other options. You have to take the top off to get to the bag. The main reason for 3 stars though is for 2 reasons... It's very thin with nothing holding it up other than a piece of particle board for the bottom and a wire at the top. The board for the bottom didn't want to line up with the little “shelves” at the bottom, so I have no illusions that this will last for very long. The 2nd reason is that the lid doesn't line up with the edges the way that it should, so it looks crooked.

Looks nice but cheaply made. I don't like that the lid is a partial in that it hinges a couple of inches into the lid and doesn't open all the way.
