we tried to use it to seal our bricks around the fireplace and it worked beautifully. i do recommend this item if you are trying to do a similar task.

TIME WILL TELL
Time will be the true test of the watertight cement patch. It is simple to use, and mixes easily this water, and sets up well. I bought it to patch the part of my front walk which had broken chunks of cement. It made for a smooth fix even though the gray color didn't match my original walk color.
