Zinus Joseph 10" Modern Studio Platform Low Profile Bed Frame, Twin

I got discouraged after reading the negative reviews. The item arrived well with no dents. All tools and instructions needed are in the box - there is also a French translation. Instructions were very simple and straightforward. Not complicated at all. I assembled it together with my 4th grader. The bed will be used by my 2 children (9 and 4). This will definitely not hold anyone heavier than 200 lbs. If you are a tiny or slim person, it should work. If you are unfit/overweight or just a large person, I wouldn't recommend it.

This is my fourth Zinus bedframe and my second time buying the Joseph model. My first one was a 6-inch Full size. My previous frames never broke; I only changed them due to moving and switching bed sizes. I always return to Zinus because of the great quality and their outstanding customer service. When Walmart listed this for such a great price, I was thrilled!I chose the 6-inch low profile version because it is the perfect height for me, and I do not need under-bed storage. I previously owned a 14-inch Zinus frame, but I was always afraid of rolling off the twin mattress and falling. This low profile frame makes me feel secure and helps me sleep much better.I have become quite adept at putting together these Zinus frames, and I had this one fully assembled in under 30 minutes! It is made of high-quality steel and features solid wood slats. It completely avoids those cheap wire slats that look like a cheese grater, or the thin metal bars that bend and create safety hazards. You have browsed to the correct bed frame, and you should buy it now!

Pay the extra money over the other choices. Well built not a bunch of small pieces to assemble. Because of longer solid pieces it is sturdier and easier to assemble.

Honestly, they really thought about everything for the assembly. They even give you a ratchet tool for you to keep it's amazing. Made my life easier. Literally…. Thank you guys !

It took me, yes only me, about 45 minutes to assemble. I like how they labelled the parts using numbers. You match the numbers of the pieces that go together. 1 attaches to 1, 2 to 2, 3 to 3 etc. My advice is to assemble the frame before putting the screw. I followed the instruction but had to unscrew when I was in step 4. The only thing that irritated me was how limited I can turn the hex - so it took a longer time to assemble. That was probably the most time-consuming part - the screws. Can't say anything about durability yet as I just used it last night. We will see if I need to update this review.

I was a little skeptical about this at first but boy was I wrong! I love everything about this platform frame. It arrived quickly and was super easy to put together. It ‘s so sturdy and stylish at the same time. Everyone who sees it falls in love with it. I'm so glad I made this purchase ! 10/10 recommended

i like the storage it's very convenient and putting it together was pretty easy. all the supplies was organized and protected. i haven't used any of the non slip tools provided and my mattress hasn't moved. ultimately this product is good so far and was worth it

As expected, I knew when I bought it that I'd have to add in a few extra supports under the slats since I don't have a box spring, but I think if you had a box spring you'd probably still want a few more braces underneath because the slats are very thin and brittle. They flexed/creaked when I got on the bed to test it (im 140lbs). if you have small pets that go under the bed and there will be more than one person sleeping on it I definitely suggest adding a few 2x4 supports underneath, (just 4 pieces of 2x4 cut to height under the bed frame and secured) I also added mdf boards to create a solid base and it's much more secure now. (Not necessary if you have a box spring, but if you don't I suggest it, just make sure there's still some ventilation underneath the mattress) Just keep in mind most bed frames in the cheaper range like this one have some complaints about the stability regarding the slats and centre supports if you look through the reviews, so prepare to have to add something underneath. It's not like framing lumber is expensive though, and if you don't have a saw you can get it cut in store to size. 4 stars because it shouldn't be that hard for manufacturers to include some 2x4 framing lumber for extra bracing cut to size, but you also get what you pay for. Even ikea has the same issues on there cheaper bed frames. I would recommend this bed frame, just be ready to add in extra bracing.

Im happy with the end product but some of the holes did not match with the screws to align everything. I spent some time sweating with bending metal and getting the screw where they needed to go.

Review after 1.5 years of use. Do not get this if you have uneven floors. Because it has no feet on the sides, it makes it hard to level. The middle feet twisted to the side and dug into our hardwood floors, taking chunks out. I recommend getting a thick rug to put underneath it, even if your floors are even. That might make the middle feet more stable.
