What I do not like is NOT getting freezer bags in various sizes (all at one at the same time). The only store that I can find what I want is WALMART!. That saves me a lot of time getting storage bags in the sizes I need for freezing food all at the same time!. I do not have to stop, drop, go shopping and then have to go to more than one store.. It makes having what you need so you can be prepared. It saves in running your dish washer, hand washing dishes... Besides a well sealed freezer bag is compact to freeze now or for a take home for a guest with out buying containers or sending them off with your dishes! Save time, money and have less stress......
I use these all the time. They seal easily and open easily. All my food stays good in the freezer. I like the fact that the one side is taller than the other for gripping. I also like the bottom that will flatten out for filling. I use them for buying hamburger in bulk that I break down into one pound packages. I cook pork roasts and freeze slices for future use. All the different meat I freeze stays in good shape and the bags are sturdy.
Ziploc bags are consistently good quality. The gallon size has so many purposes in my home. These bags are easy to seal and open. They're strong enough to wash and reuse. Frozen fruit and vegetables don't get freezer burn without freezer burn. I freeze cookies, berries and even bone-in pork chops in these bags.
These are the best freezer bags because the seams hold up. However, the thing I don't like anymore, with any bags for food storage or freezing, is they do not contain the smell especially if you're marinating for 24 to 48 hours. The odors escape in the fridge.
Everything arrived within a few days in good shape. I like Walmart.com for their bigger sizes like Ziploc freezer bags. It is hard to find a 60 count of freezer bags at Farmington Walmart. I don't mind waiting a few days for shipping. I am very impressed with this service.
We use them for everything. They are a good size for leftovers, rolled cookie dough to bake later- and we use used ones for bits of trash during the day so we can close it up and toss it out at night.
love ziplock bags. price is resonable for package size only thing is i wished the opening of the package was on the long side with those perferated marks.
The boxes come apart when you’re trying to use them so having that nice opening to pull a bag out, it is useless because of the boxes just come apart and it seems to be with any size you buy
Zip lock baggies of all sizes I have used for years and as of the last couple years they don’t seal as good as they used to . Things packaged for the freezer become freezer burnt and that waste alot of food . Recently had to throw out a ton of meat which makes me angry with the cost of groceries !
I just put in a review on spam that has the seal at the top broken and I've decided not to buy food from Walmart any more. if delivery can't get the items to me in decent shape, I'll buy from a grocery store when i do the half hour trip to town. i think i might consider not buying anything for delivery from Walmart any more because even this box of freezer bags was busted open. Everything in this order came with some brown gritty powder stuff all over. I'm sure some powder got inside the box of freezer bags so I'll have to wipe off each bag because i use it. I've order tin foil before and had those busted too and had to tape the box with packing tape. I'm so over the crappy condition Walmart products arrive in. i order from Amazon ALL the time and very rarely have damaged items. Walmart just doesn't care.
