Ziploc totes are great for taking towels and sheets to our cottage. . They stowe easily in our Jeep, they hold a lot but are light and are durable. After we have unpacked, we use the totes to take clothes to the laundromat.. The totes afford more room than typical laundry baskets for folded clean clothes. The most recent purchase is replacing one that was bought 7-8 years ago.
The only issue I had with this item is that Walmart.com mislabeled this item as a pack of 5 when the seller said it should be a single pack but the seller took care of the issue immediately so I am still happy with my purchase. I use this tote to carry loads of yarn weekly for our charity crochet and knitting group so it gets LOTS of use and this is an excellent product!! I had been using the previous one for at least FIVE years and it just now started to fall apart. And that was only the handles! The rest of the bag has held up nicely.
I usually use the hard plastic totes, but these are easier for me to handle. I like them because I can see whats inside, the others, I can't without opening. Thanks Jet for this site and I hope you stay around! #SWEEPSTAKES [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I haven't used it yet but the quality looks amazing...even a fabric zipper. I love the idea of handles. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
We got these totes to use for the kids too-small clothes. The tote simply sits on the floor of their closets, and as they discover a clothing item that is too small it is put directly into the tote. Once the tote is full, we sort & package the items for transit to the local Church & Community Services organization for disbursement to those in need in our community. It works great - and keeps all of these clothes together in one place until they're ready to go help others!
Great bag to store blankets. It's made nice. There are air holes right below the zipper, all the way around, which is nice. It's flimsy only because it's like a super large plastic bag but stronger. However, once you put the blankets in it works to an advantage because it gives a little. It's slippery %26 nothing can be stored on top of it unless it's another bag with some weight. It's a well made product.
I have one of these flexible totes, and use it to store the seat cushions from my deck furniture. It keeps them nice and dry, clean, and bug free, while being stored in our outdoor shed. The only problem I have is that I want more of these and am having a hard time finding them in the stores. I would love to have several more.
Wool yarn needs to "breathe" and that is exactly why I use these totes because the they do have mesh holes all around the zipper that no bugs can infiltrate. All animal fiber yarn needs to breathe so do not storage in airproof containers or bags. These totes make it easy to acquire your yarn too since it zips all around the top. I had to dump all out of the storage bag to get to one skein.....not with flexible totes, just unzip and pull out. I truly love these for yarn storage.
I purchased one to store my blankets in but when I went back to the store to purchase more the store had discontinued handling them. They couldn't give me a reason in doing so.. I have had a hard time finding any other store that handles them.
I looked at this product on line and in the store and it looked great. I needed a solution for sealing larger products from silverfish. You can't tell until you buy one. But there is a ring of holes along the top. I had to wrap the tote with plastic wrap to cover the holes. I have never seen a Ziploc product with holes. What a disappointment. I see that they make plastic boxes now with a seal. I will give that a try.
