Zippo Firefast® Bellows

This little gadget has worked amazing while getting a fire going in the woodstove. Generates just enough wind to really get the fire going. Cuts the time it takes to get a good fire going drastically. Takes a couple of AA batteries and seems to be built well. I'd buy it again..

I have had the hand held forced air bellows all these years not knowing there was this Zippo Firefast way. This is a battery operated unit using two double A batteries. They are not included so you will need purchase them which is no biggie. Most people already have them laying around at home. The handle has an ergonomic shape with non slip grip. The nozzle is flame retardant too so you can use it up close. The power button shuts off automatically when you release it so it preserves the battery which is a plus. It states that you will get 180 one minute uses with a set of good batteries. The unit is made of a rugged plastic construction. It also comes with a one year limited warranty. I have used it twice and I cannot state enough how easy it is too use and how great it works. The first use was on my BBQ Pit getting the coals hot in needed areas and the second use was on my fire place. When you press the button the unit turns the impeller style fan and vents for optimal air flow. It is just the perfect amount of oxygen to help get the fire going. I simply love this Zippo Battery Operated FireFast Bellow and I would highly recommend it.

Great for camp fires and the bbq grill. It is nice and compact. Only thing is be careful dropping too many times because the axial fan will eventually fall off the motor shaft and render the tool inoperable. This is my second one.

I received the Zippo Firefast Bellow as part of Walmart's Spark Reviewer Program. This item is great for helping a fire stay strong and constant. It is small and portable about 12in long. It is great for use with fire pits and for the fire place. I have a bellows that you have to constantly squeeze to give oxygen to a dying fire. This can become very fatiguing bending and squeezing a bellows. This Firefast is battery operated. Just press the button and viola it supplies oxygen to the hot embers. I used it to feed a fire outside. I was burning fallen branches on my property. It helped to fan the fire but I think this would work better in a smaller space such as a fireplace or a pit because the airflow is not that powerful. Unfortunately I could not test it on my fireplace because it has not been cold enough here in Florida to use my fireplace. I am looking forward to using it when the time comes. I know it will make my life a lot easier. It is now part of my fireplace supplies.

This Zippo fast bellows works better than one might expect, even when holding it in hand. It's small and lightweight. 2 AA batteries power this and it's relatively quiet and the air does not blow out real strong but apparently after using it, I figure it's probably the correct amount of air to add to best get your fire going. Even though it's still not cold enough outside to light up the fireplace in the living room, we have used this several times for the back yard fire pit. It works great and is better than the old manual bellows or the propane torch used in the past. I can tell you now this will work equally great in the house fireplace when we're ready for it. Only wish batteries lasted longer. Glad to have it.
