Zippo Firefast® Bellows

Great for getting and keeping a fire going.

I usually have to get low and blow on the fire to get it going but this has made it so much easier. I was looking for old time bellows when I found this. It works so well. And it also saves me having to pump the old fashioned bellows to which my shoulder is grateful! And it is much easier to pack to take camping. I suggest you get one and soon.

I have had the hand held forced air bellows all these years not knowing there was this Zippo Firefast way. This is a battery operated unit using two double A batteries. They are not included so you will need purchase them which is no biggie. Most people already have them laying around at home. The handle has an ergonomic shape with non slip grip. The nozzle is flame retardant too so you can use it up close. The power button shuts off automatically when you release it so it preserves the battery which is a plus. It states that you will get 180 one minute uses with a set of good batteries. The unit is made of a rugged plastic construction. It also comes with a one year limited warranty. I have used it twice and I cannot state enough how easy it is too use and how great it works. The first use was on my BBQ Pit getting the coals hot in needed areas and the second use was on my fire place. When you press the button the unit turns the impeller style fan and vents for optimal air flow. It is just the perfect amount of oxygen to help get the fire going. I simply love this Zippo Battery Operated FireFast Bellow and I would highly recommend it.

Zippo has come out with a better way of getting your charcoal, or wood fire to ignite quicker with the touch of a button. Instead of sticking your face in the fire and blowing till you pass out, Zippo has a handheld "forced air bellows" powered by 2 AA batteries. Battery compartment, very easy to get to in the handle, by simple removal of compartment cover, insert batteries and cover back on and your ready for some quick air flow. It has an impeller style fan built inside this hand friendly non slip grip handle that is made of flame retardant materials so the bellows can be used up close, (but not that close) for optimal air flow to the wood or charcoal. Depending on the type of batteries used, run time for using quick burst's of air should last at least,up to 180, 1 minute burst's. I have not tried this, but with the batteries I have in them right now I doubt it. I was expecting a "hair dryer" type blow, but I was way off. It's just a very slight breeze, and will for sure, stoke the fire. I held a lighter about a foot away (12 inches or so) and I pressed the button, the hummm of the silent fan came on, and "blew it out". Simple instruction's included, and tip's for a successful fire starting. Good quality material's, rugged hard plastic construction that is ideal for BBQ's,charcoal, wood, campfire's and great for indoor use at the home fireplace too. With all Zippo product's, there website show's all of there great product's as well as the" Zippo FireFast Bellows" Forced Air Fire Stoker. This item come's with a 1 year warranty and everybody know's the"Zippo" name. They have been in business as long as I can remember and I'm "ole", so I know.

I was skeptical that such a small gadget could work so well, but was pleasantly surprised! We have a clay chiminea which we seldom used b/c getting a good fire going to some time. This bellows helped enormously! Perfect for sitting on patio on colder evenings! Would work great in a fireplace, or for a campfire too! Truly a good investment! It is battery operated, so it works really well. Have attached photo of the battery storage.

We recently went camping and took the Zippo Firefast for its first run. Once we got the starter log ignited, it was a matter of minutes before we had a full fire. The Firefast is nice since you don't have to sit there and use a piece of cardboard to fan the flame. Its a point and shoot type of accessory that I would recommend to anyone who either has a firepit or wants to start a camp fire with minimal effort.

This Zippo fast bellows works better than one might expect, even when holding it in hand. It's small and lightweight. 2 AA batteries power this and it's relatively quiet and the air does not blow out real strong but apparently after using it, I figure it's probably the correct amount of air to add to best get your fire going. Even though it's still not cold enough outside to light up the fireplace in the living room, we have used this several times for the back yard fire pit. It works great and is better than the old manual bellows or the propane torch used in the past. I can tell you now this will work equally great in the house fireplace when we're ready for it. Only wish batteries lasted longer. Glad to have it.

I received the Zippo Firefast Bellow as part of Walmart's Spark Reviewer Program. This item is great for helping a fire stay strong and constant. It is small and portable about 12in long. It is great for use with fire pits and for the fire place. I have a bellows that you have to constantly squeeze to give oxygen to a dying fire. This can become very fatiguing bending and squeezing a bellows. This Firefast is battery operated. Just press the button and viola it supplies oxygen to the hot embers. I used it to feed a fire outside. I was burning fallen branches on my property. It helped to fan the fire but I think this would work better in a smaller space such as a fireplace or a pit because the airflow is not that powerful. Unfortunately I could not test it on my fireplace because it has not been cold enough here in Florida to use my fireplace. I am looking forward to using it when the time comes. I know it will make my life a lot easier. It is now part of my fireplace supplies.

This Bellow's appears to be a wonderful tool. It is put together with some very hard plastic seams rugged enough to last a very long time. After putting new batteries in it. It blows like the wind. As to how it works I don't know its winter here and no use for it now. Never get enough time to use items before a review is demanded. Although I will say I'm sure once summer is here I will find out just what a great tool this is.

The Zippo FireFast Bellows doesn't woks well at all.For trational homes fires at all like fires places or at beaches and at camp grounds too by to controlled the fires.The motor that created for the winds for the airs flowing to coming out to the plastic tunnel housing designed was pretty weak.A piece of cardboard or your blowing breaths have more air flowing and more affects than this Zippo FireFast Bellows.This Zippo FireFast Bellows may have some helped to starts a fires if you're camping way in woods and roughing it also the weather in 30 degrees this could have helped you to start a fire with twits and dries leafs.
