Zippo Silver Flex Neck Utility Lighter, Unfilled

No more burnt fingers trying to light a jar candle,yesssss!!

Of course this is the quality you would expect from a Zippo, but I was surprised how that translated into something so attractive that you WANT to leave it sitting out with your beautiful candles. The bendable neck is great for those deep lighting needs and there is also a large but concealed loop for hanging. (Would look great next to a fireplace) The glow igniter works well, but I could do without the child safety button. (Yes, I am sure it is a requirement). It fills easily and safely am very pleased with all the aspects of this product.

I have many many jar candles and tea lights. A lighter like this one is an absolute must for candles. I have 2 lighters from Yankee Candle which are Zippos as well but they do not hold much fuel. They are long but have no flexible neck. I love this! It is easy to fill. It lights on the first try. It is extremely nice looking and polished. It is perfect for lighting my candles that I have hanging in lanterns. When your jar candle is near the bottom this is what you use to light it. I really like this and would love another....and one for my daughter for her candles.

Every year I buy multiple flex necked or angled lighters for my grill because they either 'walk off' or run out of fuel and aren't refillable. So I chose this ZIPPO FLEX NECK UTILITY UNFILLED SILVER Lighter since I had a canister of butane fuel to refill other lighters. Filling it was easy, and lighting it was a little tricky, which was fine with me as I have grandchildren running around. I attached a lanyard to the loop at the end so it can be hung out of reach. Zippo has always had a good name for lighters and this one is no exception.

Lighter is heavy, made solit, and lights every time. After 1st butane fill the instructions say to wait 5 hours before using. Followed the instructions and works perfect. The neck is heavy, easy to bend, and stays in place for lighting. The safety button on the back side needs to be held in while lighting. That makes it a little clumsy for me but a great safety feature for kids. There is a fold out clip on the end for hanging. The flame adjusted on the end is easy and works perfect.

Came packed well. Easy to fill & easy to light & use. [Need 2 buy butane separately] Nice fit & weight in your hand. Took a couple tries to light at first. Flame was almost impossible to blow out when lit. Windy days will not be a problem to use. There is a safety switch/button combo to learn. Overall i'm Happy with the Zippo & will see how many candles can be lit with a full butane fill.

Great little lighter...many uses...good for lighting a camp fire...or a barbecue stove...fireplace..even little things around the house...candles, your stove...even good for heating your key to get in to your frozen locks on your car...i'm sure there are more uses...this can replace anything that needs a match to light it...I like it..

The ZIPPO FLEX NECK UTILITY LIGHTER is really nice. You do have to buy the butane separately. It uses the same type that you would use in a regular Zippo lighter. I like the silver look to this one. My husband has to light my candles with it for me because it is kind of hard for me to push the child safety lock on one side and slide the igniter on the other side. Other than that it is a great lighter. We use it for lighting the bbq pit, bon fires, birthday candles, and regular candles. I would recommend the Zippo Flex Neck Lighter to everyone.

This lighter looks very impressive and a hand full if your hands are on the small side. It took me a day to finally get the lighter to work and I would not have been frustrated if I would have read the instructions a little bit closer. The instructions said to wait 4 hours before attempting to light the lighter and that is what you should do. I thought I had not filled the lighter and thought it was a defective one but after waiting over night to try again it lit right up and has been working fine ever since. It is hard to work the safety button and the lighter switch with one hand and takes a strong hand to hold. The flex to me is not long enough to light my heater it should be another few inches (8 inches total) for mine. It needs an indicator to tell you where the fluid level is. The hanger is handy but I keep mine in a special drawer for such appliances. It is a good lighter needs some improvements but will work with most of my needs

ZIPPO FLEX NECK UTILITY LIGHTER, UNFILLED SILVER Very nice looking lighter...….But it is hard for me to operate...Well built but hard to use even in ideal circumstances. For me lighting it requires two dry hands and careful attention. It's a nice lighter but (1) the handle is heavy, (2) you have to push the child lock AND the button to light it at the same time!!, which is difficult for me (3) I still don't know if I've filled it up all the way as there is no window to show the fuel level... But once it is lite, I have had no problems with it...….so far...I like the hanger part, since I do use this for lighting a fire in the fireplace, this way I can hang it with the rest of the tools for the fireplace...and I know just where it is for lighting candles around the room also.....
