Zippo Windproof Satin Chrome? Pocket Lighter

As a zippo collector, I strongly recommend Zippo lighters. Zippo is a very fine example of the way many things should be made these days. Zippo has a great warranty, Zippo will fix the lighter free of charge, and if they cannot make the repair, they will send you a new lighter. They will even send you the amount of money back for the shipping! Warning, Zippo will NOT cover the finish or condition of the lighter. If you buy a zippo from Walmart, I wish they would add the cover for the box as well. Zippo's must be filled up with lighter fluid as they do not come with fluid. I preferably use Ronsonol Lighter Fluid with no issues and is much cheaper than the Zippo premium. Ronsonol is made by Zippo. One problem with the Zippo is, the lighter fluid will evaporate over time. If you plan on keeping the lighter in a vehicle or storing it for awhile before possibly using it again, I do not recommend a Zippo. If you are camping, the Zippo is a great product as it is windproof and will work in very good temperatures. As an avid outdoorsman, I do often go camping and need a reliable lighter in the cold. You can never get enough of opening the top of the lighter and getting that great sound. Zippo lighters also have date codes by year and month they were made. The letters are in alphabetical order, A starts with January. All Zippo's are made in the USA in Bradford, Pennsylvania. Overall, if you are looking for a good quality lighter that will provide MANY years of great service and reliability, the Zippo is the best choice available.

Always happy with Zippo. Can't take mine on the plane so I ordered this one to be delivered to my destination - knew if it was Zippo I would be happy with it.

Bought one of these Made In U.S.A. Zippo Lighters 1960s prior to being Drafted to the Vietnam War, bought another after the Vietnam War at Federal Republic of West Germany put those Classics away after bought two same Classic design "Brushed Chrome" (Satin) from Walmart Mililani Store, same quality as 1960s. They Zippo need to make a Made In U.S.A. Classic of modern stainless steel model, so that the chrome plating cannot wear off.

Item arrived 5 days late, package shrink wrap had been removed, finger prints and smudges all over item and tamper resistant tape had been tampered with. I'll never order from Wal-Mart again. The lighter it's self is fine, it's a zippo after all.

I thought that I was ordering a new lighter. However the safety seal on the lighter was broken. There were also smudges on the satin finish of the lighter. I am wondering if I could get a replacement.
