Pros and Cons

Kevin April 16, 2026

Here's a genuine review of this bike. First off, it looks fantastic—I've gotten compliments everywhere I've taken it. I've been riding it to work, 11 miles each way, for two days now, and so far so good. I've barely used the pedals except on uphill stretches. On the first day, I didn't even charge it, and it still made the round trip with no problem. A couple of concerns, though: if you plan on riding it regularly like I do, get a better seat! The stock seat is very narrow and not comfortable for long rides—it starts to hurt after just a few miles. The power is solid; I hit 15 MPH on pedal-assist level 5 going up a 30-degree incline. Going downhill, the motor stops giving power at 19 MPH. You'll also need to adjust the gears right out of the box. I can't shift into 6th or 7th gear, and 1st gear causes the chain to come off track. Definitely tune it and test it before your trip. Overall, I don't regret buying it, and I'll update my review if anything changes.

It's really good customer service as soon as I find out the power was broken. They did a really quick response.

Snow depth varies considerably on snow tracks during winter. The rear suspension adapts to these changing surface conditions without requiring any adjustments from the rider. The full suspension system significantly enhances riding comfort and grip on snow.

The front fork and rear suspension work together to effectively absorb repeated bumps from the road surface, with remarkable results. This makes long rides on rough roads much easier.

My friend and I compared our hardtail mountain bikes on the same technical downhill section. His bike bounced a lot on the rough terrain, while mine traveled smoothly. The difference in rear suspension was obvious on the downhill section.

On this bike, the transitions from unsightly roads to dirt tracks and gravel are much smoother. The full suspension system makes the bike ride very smoothly.

The motor assistance and full suspension system allowed me to ride routes that would have left me exhausted halfway down my old hardtail mountain bike. The full suspension system not only extended my riding distance but also expanded the range of routes I could ride.

This bike weighs a whopping 72 pounds, and I don't want to be carrying it around all the time. While it's certainly comfortable to ride in, the weight is an unavoidable part of owning it.

The rate at which battery power decreases varies greatly depending on the level of assistance and the terrain. The figures above do not represent the actual situation for every ride.

Just got the bike and put it together tightened every bolt and screw on it and it's broken down already after 2 weeks of having it. The screws for the handle bar doesn't screw all the way so the handle bars are loose, the tires flatten every time you ride the bike and the battery takes 7 hours to charge only to take you an hour away and once it's dead you can't paddle bc it's literally impossible unless you got some strong legs
