I just went to a SAR meeting where the presenter (a SAR captain for 30 years) said the Zoleo was a good choice and is used by many professional rescuers and guides. I have not yet activated my new unit, but was glad to hear I didn't make a mistake buying it.

Tracking is good. I'm traveling alone and hiking a lot and it allows me to inform my hubby of where I am.

The device was easy to activate and so far so good. I hope I don't need it but it's there as a lifeline. 🙂👍

Too early to tell
I have not set up an account yet so I haven't tested it. I wanted a versatile device that can text on satellite, cell, and WIFI. This is my choice. I will update my review as I get experience with it. you do need to use your cell phone to enter text. It's kind of like a dumb terminal in that regard.

A must have!!!
In this day and age, you need something that can send out messages and be able to get help when needed. This device will be able to keep me and my family in contact with friends and family in case the cell phones go out or there is no cell signal. It's definitely worth the money for something that can do all that.
