Perfect light for my green cheek conure, As per my avian vet This is the only 5.0 UVA%26UVB approved for birds . Don't buy a fake or your bird will be color blind!

UV bulb for my birds
I had to replace one of the bulbs. The price is comparable as any other place. The only issues I had was how long it took to get here like four days. I understand wanting for something and it taken four days but something you need as a replacement ASAP four days is long time. I will buy from Walmart again this product.

Great
This light bulb is good for your pet birds. You put this light 12-18 inches from the top of the cage. And what it does it sends down heat waves on your bird. Its like if he was outside getting sun. The light works like if it was the sun and the birds need that cause it helps them with there feathers,bones and skin.

A very worthwhile purchase if you have birds.
Now my birds can have sunshine inside and I don't have to worry about squirls opening the cage doors (to get the food) and letting my birds free! Yes, that actually happened to one of my budgies!

Liked it was n sale. These are not heat lights, it's full spectrum giving my bird closet to sunlight in the house

Needs clarity! Item needs a lamp with socket.
The product described is not clear that this item is a UVB light bulb only. This is not a compact lamp. I found it confusing because it described a compact lamp.

Replace in a year, doesn't last long
So far so good, but is a bit expensive and doesn't last as long as regular light bulbs. Have to replace in a year.

Poor cancellation policy
Tried to cancel shortly after ordering but sent anyway will not order again with this company, wrong voltage my error but not permitted to change
