Good Mineral Block for Birds
Zoo Med Labs Supplement Bird Banquet Mineral Block has been a fantastic addition to my bird's habitat. From the moment I placed it in the cage, my bird showed immediate interest. Easy to put and Great add on to small birds diet, i have parakeets and finches and they both like to nibble on it every now and then.

Smaller Than Expected
My rating of 3 stars is solely based on the price. It's bit costly considering the size. I do realize that the advertising said "small", but I really didn't think it was going to be THAT small. The block itself is about 1.5x1.0x1.0 inches. I have my male and female parakeets separated into 2 large cages. The males finished the entire block in one day. There are about 10 of them in there. The females are still working on it 3 days later, but they are about 1/2 way through it. There are about 9 of them in there. I was hoping that it would last a bit longer. To be honest I'd just stick to good old cuttlebone.
