Zoom baits are the standard in soft plastics
You can't go wrong with Zoom baits. These lizards have great action and when fished properly, bass will strike. Like everything, they have become a little expensive but still more affordable than some other brands. Catch them on sale somewhere and load up, they catch fish.

Always a great bass bait. Many colors to choose from. I've caught some really nice crappie with it also.
