[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whenever I am introducing a new food to my Cockatoo, Bobby, I always have to dress up like a bird and pretend I am eating it. He will only eat it if he thinks I want it. He was initially hesitant, but after a week he seems to love it. These seed pellets seem to be very high quality. The pellets are packed with vitamins, minerals and amino acids. Bobby can be real finicky, so I am thankful that he is eating these pellets. Feeding him a nutritionally complete diet is important to me because he is like family. I did mention to my bird vet that I was trying these, and he was filled with praise for the brand. I would highly recommend these, and will be buying more in the future when he eats all of the pellets. I received these free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review, but my opinions are my own.

Zupreem natural is one of the foods the rescue center told us to use 19 years ago when we rescued one, and then another Quaker. (For those who know Quakers you can't have just one if you want to he able to hear each other talk). We give them a small bowl of "treats" on the side but their main course has been the medium natural pellets. We lost one 4 years ago due to an injury but the second is 19 years old, already past the span of 18 the rescue center told us to expect and he acts as he always has, no sign of slowing down. We attribute the longevity to feeding him the right food! Unfortunately (reason for 4 stars) the last 20 lb bag (cost effective to buy it that way then use a food sealer to make 4 packages) had an odor to it and he's ended up throwing it more than eating it. We threw the bag away before we realized there was a problem we so couldn't do anything about it. We've never had the odor problem with the food, so we're assuming a taste problem by the way he's reacted, in all the years weve used it so didn't expect there to ever be one. I'm getting ready to throw more than 10 lbs away once I order and receive a new bag because I am going to stick with it.

My bird is a Macaw and doesn't like the smaller pieces

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cockatiel is at least 21 years old, which is very old for a cockatiel. This food looks good and sounds like a good idea, but my bird won't eat it. She has eaten seed all her life and I think she's too set in her ways to try something new. If she was younger, she may have been open to trying it.
