ZURU Max Build More 759 Max Bricks

Extremely happy to get Lego at a competitive price of ten bugs. They work perfectly and have varied design and size. Kids are loving it.

I purchased a LEGO book with bricks set not realizing it required you to already have LEGO bricks. Since I didn't want to spend a lot of money, I researched Wal-Mart's choices for secondary brand and chose this ZURU set. It seems to be a good amount of bricks for the money, much more than I would get in a LEGO set, and ZURU seems to be a good brand.

Great product! My kids enjoy playing with it. They work just as other brands do. My only concern is that it comes with many small pieces so not so safe for children under 3.

We have always bought the name brand blocks, but on black Friday we found these and thought we'd give them a try. There is no difference, in my opinion, to the name brand. I got this set for $19.99 for 750 some pieces, how can you beat that! We are very pleased with this purchase:)

kids love legos. tgey don't care wether they are legi or Maxx block when doing their own thing. they di care when it comes to building specific things like in the kits. i believe they honestly don't care if maxx has building sets and they were cool wed buy em probably more often than we buy lego br

I am a bargain shopper but also a quality shopper. I did a lot of research on this item and found that it is indistinguishable from LEGO. I looked up a LEGO set of around 750 pieces and found it on sale for $43.99. That's more than half the price of this. For what? The name? Because in this case the name is all that you are paying for. Go with this one, you won't regret it and your wallet will thank you.

My Grandson is a HUGE LEGO fan . But I thought I'd at least buy these and have him try them . He loved them . He He had hours of playtime with them as he Played with them off and on all weekend . And they can be used with most brands including Lego Brand . They great quality and you get a lot of bricks for a lot less money !! That works for me !

MAX Build More 759 piece tub (made by Zuru). Sometimes, I like to get the cheaper, LEGO-wannabe bricks too, for a change of pace, so, I scooped this up for 20 bucks. You get 12 bags of blocks, but, those are actually three identical copies of the same four assortments--more variety would have been nice. The paper manual has instructions for 13 different models, and the building steps are shorter and more complicated to follow than LEGO's. Even though there are hundreds of them, there still aren't enough bricks here to build all 13 things simultaneously, which was disappointing. The models (poodle, pirate ship, parrot, race car, duck, starship, semi truck, rabbit, guitar, house, T-Rex, dragon, and castle) are fairly good, but, some of them aren't as polished, or structurally sound, as LEGO ones. The dragon, castle, and space ship are the most complex and tricky to do. Zuru's bricks are good quality and fit together okay, but, sometimes, they can also be a little too tight/loose. Another oddity with these is that you have to apply eye stickers to the white discs (LEGO prints those on for you). The red storage tub is a good container. There are two white clips on the sides that lock the cover in place. Are these as good as LEGO? Not quite, but, they're not terrible either, and, because they're compatible, you can mix them in with your LEGOs for even more building fun. This is significantly cheaper than a comparable LEGO tub of blocks too.

The price for the quantity of building bricks is great. It is a Christmas present for my grandson so I don't know about the quality of this brand as of yet. I'm sure he will get tons of use out of them though! The container appears to be strong enough to last.

Disappointed to see how many of the 759 pieces are tiny and mostly useless pieces. If you want something for your kids to use their imagination, and not just follow instructions for building specific projects, I'd recommend a different building kit. Added a photo with just a quick sample of the tiny pieces. Probably half of this product is tiny stuff.
