I am a regular coffee drinker who loves warm, foamy half and half in her coffee. The frother is amazing! I get a warm latte every morning in just a few minutes. Bonus...it makes excellent foamy hot chocolate for my grandsons.

I admit it. I love going out for coffee. Beautiful lattes, caps, even whipped hot chocolates. But like most people these days, I just can't handle the cost anymore. Short of giving up my frothy coffee lust all together, I decided to seek out a home frother. I have to say, I was super disappointed that virtually every unit seemed to be coated in non-stick chems. What am I, frying an egg or braising a roast? No, I'm just aerating milk. Then I found this clean stainless unit from Zwilling. Yes, a little pricier than some, but I've had great luck with every item from them (I have their electric kettle, personal blender, many Four-Star knives, a few glass mugs, etc.), plus they all have real warranties, so I thought I'd take a chance with their frother. Glad I did, and here's why. For starters, besides the healthy stainless, the cup lifts out on its own so you don't have to grab a bulky, hot unit and try to pour out your foam while dodging a cord. Also, it's virtually silent as it gently whirrs your milk of choice. It works on a magnetic format and has two different blending heads, one for aerating (see pic) and one for just whipping up hot chocolate where you don't need as much foam. Nice to have some choices, and the kids will be happy too. It's automatic with its cycles, about 2 minutes for hot and 1 minute for cold (mind the max lines listed in the cup pic). You can stop it at any time mid-cycle by simply pressing the big button. I also noticed as I was writing this that the foam has lasted even as my coffee was going cold (my Starbucks foam never did that). I also tried using my unsweetened almond "milk" and it worked just as well as my 2% dairy, which I didn't expect as the almond has so little fat in it. Impressive. And like all their electricals, it comes with a 3-prong, heavy duty cord. Safety first. Bonus? It's very attractive and sleek on your counter. I got the black color, but the silver is pretty as well. Again, nice to have some choices. All in all, beautiful, quiet, logical, superior foam, easy clean-up, no chems. I pronounce this one a winner and definitely worth a look in. So far I love this device. After having tried a multitude of frothed this one is my favorite. The milk froth for a cappuccino is thick and perfect. The cold froth for iced coffee is spot on. Can’t say enough good things about this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Adds a lot of volume, using oat milk, smooth great texture but what surprised me was the perfection of the temperature- ready to drink unlike steamed latte from my automatic espresso machine. Plus it’s extremely quiet so I can use it during Zoom meetings:-). This is the 3rd brother I’ve owned and by far the best. Sturdy wand and easy to clean.

I read many reviews of other products where people were disappointed that the product didn’t work with plant mills. I just used my zwilling frother with Silk almond milk and it worked perfectly. The frother attachment that hangs down from the lid seems a bit delicate so I hope it will hold up over time. But so far so good.

I really liked the frother when it worked. Unfortunately it stopped frothing up and only heated my milk. The machine itself when working is very quite and froths well and is also very easy to clean. I have had a few frother’s and was excited when I started using the willing version but learned quickly it was like most others that are not commercially produced. They just don’t hold up to the test of time. Wanted to love it but just can’t give it 5 stars.
