This knife is my number one knife for processing all vegetables and trimming meat. I have given this knife along with your 3.5” and 4” Parer to over ten friends and family over the years. Please bring back the 3.5” Parer. They also agree that these knives are perfect to be utilized for any type of processing meat and vegetables. I've been a devoted fan of your 4 star knives since my tour of duty in Germany back in the late 1970's.
This knife quickly became my wife's favorite. The size and the serrated edge make it perfect for cutting baguette or italian bread. The handle is comfortable and the knife performs extermely well.
This hard to find replacement for our nearly worn out original knife was a surprise find at Walmart. It was delivered as promised and although it looked bent in the scratched up packaging, it turned out to be in brand new perfect condition once removed from the box. Very happy with the purchase and communication.
I am very pleased with my 4-star 5" utility knife. I bought it because I already have one and it is my favorite knife!
My purchase was a direct replacement for a 20+ year old Zwilling Four Star Serrated Utility Knife. The old knife was in daily use and a kitchen favorite. Multiple attempts at resharpening finally reduced the 'utility'. I am very happy with the new knife and again, use it daily.
Exactly what I needed to cut the bread I've been making.
My dad got a twin steel hunting knife before I was born. That's still my favorite knife and I'm nearly 80 years old now.
I bought this knife about twenty years ago, and have loved using it--almost exclusively with tomatoes--all these years. I had a house guest here a little over a month ago who noticed me using the knife and said she wished she had such a good knife. I sent her and her husband one as a gift, and they phoned me to say they used it the day it arrived, and are enjoying it as much as I treasure my own.
I had my five inch serrated utility knife (AKA tomato slicer) since my parents gave us a Henkel set back in the 1970s, and was really sad when I took it to a meeting to slice a cake I was sharing and lost it. It is, as others have said, the most useful knife in the set. I was thrilled to be able to find the same knife that matched my old set perfectly! These really are great knives.
The handle of this knife I just received is lighter than my originals, the plastic differs, it throws the balance off. I have the original set I purchased in the late 1980's, including one of the two Four Star 5” Serrated Utilities. I'll be stopping by a cutlery retailer to see if the engineering changed or it is this distributor. It is noticeable without weighing, but I did weigh it to be sure.
