ZWILLING Four Star 7-pc Self-Sharpening Block Set

I had forgotten how sharp a knife should be. I just thought I had been easily cutting meat and chopping vegetables. These knives pleasantly surprised me with their razor sharpness. I can't believe I waited this long to get my four star knives.

Excellent set of knifes. The 8" Chef's knife is my new "go-to" knife. It actually makes dicing and slicing more enjoyable for this home chef. I ordered a Ballarini 7-inch Santoku which fits nicely in the open slot. It's a decent knife but can't match the Zwilling quality.

Our daughter just bought a new house with a new kitchen. This was our gift to her and since we have the same knife set we know that she will enjoy this set longer than her house… The block looks beautiful but there was one knife missing (we ordered the 7 pc set but the block has room for 8) so we ordered an extra one.

I bought a four-star knife in an outlet mall in 2025 and vowed to reward myself with a whole set at the next occasion as it's been my go-to knife for almost a year now. I've been eyeing the knife block for a while, so I pulled the trigger when I could and am so glad that I did. I truly enjoy the sharpness of each knife's blade. I hope the knife-sharpening option actually works, which I won't know for another few months.

The knife set is beautiful, we love the color combination of the metal and wood. It's been 2 weeks since we got it and we are loving it! The handles are great and hoping for no more dull knives!

First set of ‘real' knives I've owned, very impressed by how sharp they are and they seem to be retaining their edge so far. The only negative is the empty Santoku slot, which requires you to purchase it separately. Why don't ZWILLING just add that knife to the set and charge accordingly?? It makes no sense.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) So far so good. Really prompt delivery and the lady who helped me was very patient and helpful. Everything seems good right now. Hopefully it remains great as the years go by as I plan on using it for a very long time!

Loved the set so far. I would recommend the manufacturer to not put clear tape on the opening of the base as it leaves the adhesive against the stainless steal surface.
