ZWILLING Knife & Scissor Sharpener

One of the better, easy to use knife sharpeners we've tried over the years. Just a draw through the fine side hones a nice, sharp edge on your blade. We've only had it for a few weeks but I'd have to give it a big thumbs-up based on the preliminaries! Love the non-slip, rubber base and the handle/grip is designed very ergonomically.

This is by far the best knife sharpener I have used to date. I am thrilled it sharpens my scissors too. I have had my Pro S knives for 20 years and my scissors were dull. They are razor sharp now thanks to my new sharpener. Thank you for continuing to put out such great products. I would recommend this to my friends along with your knives!

I have a set of Henkle knives with a scissor, which I've used for a handful of years. A set like these are very nice to begin with and just needed some TLC since I actually use them. I firmly believe in using the honing steel for the knives before going to a sharper, which led me to this purchase. With a few slides through the coarse and then fine sides, wipe off any burrs which might have been generated and BAM! Like new sharp knives! The design is stupid-simple and just requires you to apply firm pressure on the coarse and then lightly drag through the fine. The bottom comes with a non-slide surface, which is important, so you don't wind up slipping and slicing off your favorite digit. The scissor sharpening is simple too, as you just need to use scissor/pull action to sharpen The only con I can think of, which really isn't one, would be the potential for the knife to slip onto the plastic as it slides out of the sharpener. Better that it be a softer surface like this, rather than something that hard that would dull the blade. Oh, just in case you have a pair of japanese knives, this is not the tool you're looking for. Thankfully, our mighty Zwilling conglomerate overlords have a specific tool for that. In the end, this is a little more expensive than I really think it should be, but it's a good sharpener and fits the job and does it right. No regrets!

This sharpener is very easy to use whether a person is right-handed or left-handed. Of course, after I sharpened a knife with this sharpener, I could immediately notice that the knife got sharper!

Nice sturdy little sharpener. Fits easily in the drawer. 3 sharpening surfaces (coarse, fine, scissors). Why did I wait so long? It is a relief to have a sharp knife again.

Handy to help refresh the edge of the knife between sharping. You do not need to worry about the angle as you would on a sharpening steel.

Very well made and easy to use. As soon as I got the sharpener I sharpened my trusty chef knife and it is good as new.

This item was purchased specifically to sharpen scissors, it did not live to my expectations, ZWILLING J HENCKELS scissors not sharpening WELL

Tried to sharpen 4 knives. First knife sharpened great. Second knife was not as sharp as the first. Third and fourth knives were sharp enough to cut most things but not as sharp as the first one. I was very disappointed. I'm returning the sharpener to the store.
