ZWILLING Pro 5.5-inch Hollow Edge Santoku Knife

This amazing knife was just what I needed to start my collection. It's perfectly weighted and feels so solid in my hand. Professional knives have always intimidated me — fearing that I would cut myself. The precision from this knife is unmatched. I use it several times each day. Can't believe I waited so long! And no slips means no cuts!

I really enjoy using this knife as it is very well. Balanced and the small size of 5.5 makes it ideal for cutting things like chicken, small steaks and even some vegetables. The little rivets on the side make the knife not stick to the meat. Which makes things very convenient.

My family uses our Zwilling Pro S 5.5" Hollow Edge Santoku Knife multiple times a day and have been doing so for at least 10 years. It is by far the knife of choice for my wife and also my mother-in-law when mincing, chopping or slicing as it is the perfect size for their hands. When I saw the Zwilling Pro 5.5" version on sale I immediately jumped on it, ordering two for my sons for their eventual use when they establish their own households.

This knife is perfect for chopping and preparing veggies and I also use it for meat. I bought an extra one for my son, who's studying culinary arts and his last name is "Zwilling" so we've always loved these products. High quality products. I watch for the sales!

This style of knife is my personal favorite knife blade. It was a great addition to our other knives. The quality of the steel and the workmanship of the knife are impeccable.
